⁶ And the woman sees the tree is good for food and desirable to the eyes and a tree to desire to comprehend; and she takes of the fruit thereof and eats; and also gives to her man with her; and he eats.

¹¹ And he says, Who told you you are naked? Ate you of the tree whereof I misvahed you to not eat? ¹² And Adam says, The woman you gave me, she gave me of the tree and I ate.

¹⁶ To the woman he says, In abounding, I abound your contortion and your conception; in contortion, birth your sons; and your desire is to your man and he reigns over you. ¹⁷ And to Adam he says, Because you hearkened to the voice of your woman and ate of the tree, of which I misvahed you, saying, Eat not thereof; cursed is the soil for your sake: in contortion, eat thereof all the days of your life;

⁶ And if she becomes to a man, and her vows are on her, or binds the utterance of her lips on her soul; ⁷ and her man hears, and in the day he hears, hushes; then her vows become raised and the bonds she binds on her soul become raised:

³ neither intermarry with them; nor give your daughter to his son, nor take his daughter to your son. ⁴ For he turns aside your son from following me to serve other elohim: so that Yah Veh kindles his wrath against you and destroys you suddenly.

²⁵ Surely there is none like Ach Ab who sold himself to work evil in the eyes of Yah Veh - whom Iy Zebel his woman goaded.

⁶ and he walks in the way of the sovereigns of Yisra El, as the house of Ach Ab worked: for he has the daughter of Ach Ab to woman: and he works evil in the eyes of Yah Veh:

²¹ Hand in hand, the evil are not exonerated; and the seed of the just escapes.

¹⁸ The sons gather timber and the fathers burn the fire; and the women knead their dough to work wafers to the sovereigness of the heavens and to libate libations to other elohim to vex me.

¹⁵ Then all the men who know that their women incense to other elohim, and all the women who stand by - a great congregation - even all the people who settle in the land of Misrayim, in Pathros, answer Yirme Yah, saying,

¹⁹ - but Herodias begrudged him and willed to slaughter him; but she could not: ²⁰ for Herod awed Yahn, knowing he was a just and holy man; and guarded him; and he heard him and did much; and heard him with pleasure. ²¹
THE BIRTHDAY SUPPER OF HEROD
And so be it, an opportune day: and on his birthday Herod prepares a supper to his magistrates, chiliarchs and preeminent of Galiyl: ²² and the daughter of Herodias enters and dances; and pleases Herod and those who repose with him. And the sovereign says to the maiden, Ask of me whatever you will, and I give you. ²³ - and he oaths to her, Whatever you ask of me, I give You, to the half of my sovereigndom. ²⁴ And she goes, and says to her mother, What ask I? And she says, The head of Yahn the Baptizer. ²⁵ And straightway she enters with diligence to the sovereign and asks, wording, I will that you give me, immediately on a platter, the head of Yahn the Baptizer. ²⁶ And the sovereign becomes extremely sorrowful; yet for sake of his oath, and for the sakes of them who repose with him, he wills to not set her aside. ²⁷
