⁴ As for me, Is my meditation to humanity? Why then is my spirit not curtailed?

⁹ And thus Mosheh words to the sons of Yisra El: but they hearken not to Mosheh for shortness of spirit and for hard service.

¹⁶ Give not your maid as the face of a daughter of Beli Yaal: for I word from the abundance of my meditation and vexation.

²⁶ And as the sovereign of Yisra El passes by on the wall, a woman cries out to him, saying, Save, my adoni, O sovereign. ²⁷ And he says, If Yah Veh saves you not, how save I you? From the threshingfloor? Or from the trough?

¹¹ What is my force, that I await? What is my end, that I prolong my soul?

¹¹ Also I - I spare not my mouth; I word in the tribulation of my spirit; I meditate in the bitterness of my soul. ¹² Am I a sea or a monster that you set a guard over me? ¹³ When I say, My bedstead sighs for me, my bed lifts my meditation; ¹⁴ and you terrify me with dreams and frighten me through visions; ¹⁵ so that my soul chooses strangling and death rather than my bones. ¹⁶ I spurn; I live not eternally; let me decease; for my days are vanity. ¹⁷ What is man, that you greaten him? - that you set your heart on him? ¹⁸ - that you visit him every morning? - and proof him every blink? ¹⁹ Until when look you not from me? - nor loose me until I swallow my spit? ²⁰ I sinned; what do I to you, O you guardian of humanity? Why set me as a target against you, so that I am a burden to myself? ²¹ And why lift you not my rebellion and pass away my perversity? for now I lie in the dust; and you seek me early - but I am not.

¹ My soul loathes life; I forsake my self-meditation; I word in the bitterness of my soul. ² I say to Elohah, Judge me not wicked; let me know why you contend with me.
