²⁵ He swells; the mighty dodge him; they purify themselves from breakings;

²⁸ and they cry to Yah Veh in their tribulation and he brings them from their distresses:

⁴ And Yah Veh casts a great wind on the sea, and there is a great storm in the sea, so that the ship fabricates to be broken: ⁵ and the mariners awe and every man cries to his elohim; and cast the instruments in the ship into the sea to lighten it by them: and Yonah descends into the flanks of the ship; and he lies down and sleeps soundly: ⁶ and the great sailer approaches him, and says to him, What mean you, O sound sleeper? Rise, call on your Elohim, if so be that Elohim shine on us that we not destruct.
