¹² While it is yet in unripeness and not plucked, it withers at the face of any herb.

⁶ as the grass on the roofs, withering ere they are drawn: ⁷ which fill neither the palm of the mower nor the bosom of the binder:

⁶ And he becomes as the naked in the plain, and sees not when good comes; and tabernacles in the scorches in the wilderness - in a salt land, not settled.

²⁰ And that spored on the rocky is whoever hears the word: and straightway takes it with cheer;

¹⁰ and the rich in his humiliation: because he passes as the blossom of the herbage. ¹¹ For the sun rises with a scorch and withers the grass; and the blossom falls and destructs the befittingness of its face: thus also the rich fades in his ways.
