³⁸ Pilatos words to him, What is truth? And when he says this he again goes to the Yah Hudiym and words to them, I find in him no cause at all:

¹⁸ - for he knows they deliver him because of envy. ¹⁹ As he sits on the bamah, his woman apostolizes him, wording, Have naught to do with that just man: for I suffered much this day in a dream because of him.

²⁴ And Pilatos sees he cannot benefit aught, but rather, a riot becomes, he takes water, and washes his hands in front of the multitude, wording, I am guiltless of the blood of this just person: you see to it.

¹⁴ And Pilatos words to them, Indeed, what evil did he? And they cry out the more superabundantly, Stake!

⁴ And Pilatos says to the archpriests and to the multitude, I find no cause in this human.

⁴ Pilatos goes again and words to them, Behold, I bring him to you, so that you know I find no cause in him.

⁶ So when the archpriests and attendants see him they cry out, wording, Stake! Stake! Pilatos words to them, You take him, and stake: for I find no cause in him.

²¹ So the archpriests of the Yah Hudiym word to Pilatos, Scribe not, The Sovereign of the Yah Hudiym; but, He says I am Sovereign of the Yah Hudiym. ²² Pilatos answers, What I scribed I scribed.

²⁵ and as he reasons concerning justness, self-control, and the judgment about to be, Phelix becomes awestricken, and answers, Go your way for now; when I partake a season, I call for you. ²⁶ He hopes simultaneously that Paulos gives him riches, so as to loose him: so he summons him the oftener, and homologizes with him.

¹⁹ but with the precious blood of Messiah, as of a lamb, unblemished and unstained:
