RACHAB PROTECTS THE SPIES And Yah Shua the son of Nun sends two men from Shittim to spy quietly, saying, Go see the land of Yericho. - and they go, and come to the house of a woman - a whore named Rachab, and lie down there. ² And it is said to the sovereign of Yericho, saying, Behold, men of the sons of Yisra El came in tonight to explore the land. ³ And the sovereign of Yericho sends to Rachab, saying, Bring the men who came to you who entered your house: for they came to explore all the land. ⁴ And the woman takes the two men, and hides them, and says thus, Men came to me, but I know not whence: ⁵ and so be it, at the shutting of the portal, at dark, the men went: where the men went, I know not: pursue after them hastily and overtake them. ⁶ And she ascends them to the roof; and hides them with the timbers of flax she aligned on the roof: ⁷ and the men pursue after them the way to Yarden to the passages: and as soon as they pursue them, they shut the portal. ⁸ And ere they lie down, she ascends to them on the roof; ⁹ and says to the men, I know Yah Veh gives you the land and that your terror befalls us; and that all the settlers of the land melt at your face: ¹⁰ for we hear how Yah Veh withered the water of the Reed sea at your face, in your going from Misrayim; and what you worked to the two sovereigns of the Emoriy on the other side Yarden - Sichon and Og, whom you devoted: ¹¹ we hear and our hearts melt, and no more spirit/wind rises in any man at your face: for Yah Veh your Elohim is Elohim in the heavens above and on the earth below. ¹² And now I beseech you, oath to me by Yah Veh, surely I worked you mercy, that you also work mercy to the house of my father, and give me a true sign: ¹³ that you save alive my father and my mother and my brothers and my sisters and all they have, and rescue our souls from death. ¹⁴ And the men say to her, Our soul dies for yours, if you tell not this word; and in giving, when Yah Veh gives us the land, we work mercy and truth with you. ¹⁵ Then she descends them by a cord through the window: for her house is on the wall and she settles on the wall. ¹⁶ And she says to them, Go to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you; and hide yourselves three days, until the pursuers return: and afterward go your way. ¹⁷ And the men say to her, We are innocent of this your oath which you had us oath. ¹⁸ Behold, when we come into the land, bind this cord of scarlet thread in the window whereby you descended us: and gather your father, and your mother, and your brothers, and all the household of your father to your house: ¹⁹ and so be it, whoever goes outside the doors of your house, his blood is on his head, and we are innocent: and whoever is in the house with you, if any hand is on him, his blood is on our head: ²⁰ and if you tell this our word, then we are innocent of this oath you had us oath. ²¹ And she says, According to your words, so be it. and she sends them away and they go; and she binds the scarlet cord in the window. ²² And they go and come to the mountain and settle there three days until the pursuers return: and the pursuers seek them all the way but find them not. ²³ So the two men return and descend from the mountain and pass over and come to Yah Shua the son of Nun; and scribe him all they found: ²⁴ and they say to Yah Shua, Surely Yah Veh gives all the land into our hands; for even all the settlers of the land melt at our face.

² Send men to explore the land of Kenaan, which I give to the sons of Yisra El: of every rod of their fathers send one man - one man, a ruler among them.

¹⁷ and Mosheh sends them to explore the land of Kenaan and says to them, Ascend this way southward and ascend into the mountain: ¹⁸ and see what the land is; and the people who settle therein, whether strong or weak, few or many; ¹⁹ and what is the land they settle in, whether good or evil; and what are the cities they settle in, whether in camps, or in fortresses; ²⁰ and what is the land, whether fat or emaciated, whether or not there is timber therein: and prevail and take of the fruit of the land: the time is the days of the firstlings grapes. ²¹ And they ascend and explore the land from the wilderness of Sin to Rechob as men come to Hamath:

And Yisra El settles in Shittim and the people begin to whore with the daughters of Moab:

⁴⁹ and they encamp by Yarden from Beth Ha Yeshimoth even to Abel Hash Shittim in the plains of Moab.

SONS OF YISRA EL PASS OVER YARDEN And Yah Shua starts early in the morning; and they pull stakes from Shittim and come to Yarden - he and all the sons of Yisra El; and stay there overnight ere they pass over.

THE MANNA CEASES And the sons of Yisra El encamp in Gilgal and work the pasach on the fourteenth day of the month at evening in the plains of Yericho:

¹ In shutting, Yericho is shut from the face of the sons of Yisra El: no one going, and no one coming. ² And Yah Veh says to Yah Shua, See, I give in your hand, Yericho and the sovereign and the mighty of valour: ³ surround the city, all you men of war, and go all around the city one time: work thus six days: ⁴ and seven priests at the face of the ark bear seven shophars of jubilee: and the seventh day surround the city seven times, and the priests blast with the shophars. ⁵ And so be it, when they draw on the jubilee horn, and when you hear the voice of the shophar, all the people shout a great shout; and the wall of the city falls under it, and the people ascend, each straight in front of him. ⁶ And Yah Shua the son of Nun calls the priests, and says to them, Lift the ark of the covenant. - and seven priests bear seven shophars of jubilee at the face of the ark of Yah Veh. ⁷ And he says to the people, Pass on, and surround the city, and he who is equipped pass on at the face of the ark of Yah Veh. ⁸ And so be it, when Yah Shua says to the people, the seven priests bearing the seven shophars of jubilee pass on at the face of Yah Veh, and blast with the shophars: and the ark of the covenant of Yah Veh walks after them; ⁹ and the equipped walk at the face of the priests who blast the shophars; and the gathering walks after the ark going on and blasting with the shophars. ¹⁰ And Yah Shua misvahs the people, saying, Neither shout, nor have your voice heard, nor any word go from your mouth, until the day I say, Shout! then, shout! ¹¹ And the ark of Yah Veh surrounds the city, going around one time: and they come into the camp and stay overnight in the camp. ¹² And Yah Shua starts early in the morning and the priests lift the ark of Yah Veh: ¹³ and seven priests bearing seven shophars of jubilee at the face of the ark of Yah Veh in walking, walk and blast with the shophars: and the equipped go at their face; and the gathering comes after the ark of Yah Veh - going and blasting with the shophars. ¹⁴ And the second day they surround the city one time, and return to the camp: thus they work six days. ¹⁵ And so be it, on the seventh day, they start early about the ascending of dawn, and surround the city after the same judgment seven times: except on that day they surround the city seven times. ¹⁶ And so be it, the seventh time, the priests blast the shophars, and Yah Shua says to the people, Shout! - for Yah Veh gives you the city! ¹⁷ And the city becomes devoted to Yah Veh - it and all therein: only, Rachab the whore lives - she and all with her in the house, because she hid the angels we sent. ¹⁸ And you, be on guard of the devoted, lest you become devoted when you take of the devotement; and set the camp of Yisra El a devotement, and trouble it. ¹⁹ But all the silver and gold and instruments of copper and iron, are holy to Yah Veh: they come into the treasury of Yah Veh. ²⁰ So the people shout and blast with the shophars: and so be it, when the people hear the voice of the shophar and the people shout with a great shouting the wall falls flat; so that the people ascended into the city; and every man straight in front of him captures the city: ²¹ and they devote all that is in the city - both man and woman - from lad to old man and ox and lamb and he burro with the mouth of the sword. ²² And to the two men who spied the land, Yah Shua says, Go into the house of the woman, and bring out the woman and all she has, as you oathed to her. ²³ And the lads, the spies go in, and bring out Rachab and her father and her mother and her brothers and all she has; and they bring out all her family, and leave them outside the camp of Yisra El: ²⁴ and they burn the city and all therein with fire: only, they give the silver and the gold and the instruments of copper and of iron to the treasury of the house of Yah Veh. ²⁵ And Yah Shua saves Rachab the whore alive with the household of her father and all she has; and she settles within Yisra El to this day; because she hid the angels Yah Shua sent to spy out Yericho.

² And the sons of Dan send five men of their family of their men - sons of valour from Sorah and from Eshtaol to spy out the land and to probe it: and they say to them, Go, probe the land. And they come to mount Ephrayim, to the house of Michah Yah, and they stay there overnight:

²⁵ Likewise also was not Rachab the whore justified by works when she received the angels and sent them another way?

³⁰ There is neither wisdom nor discernment nor counsel against Yah Veh.

³⁵ and all who whirl on the earth are machinated as nought: and he does as he wills among the valiant of the heavens and they who whirl on the earth: and no one can strike his hand, or say to him, What serve you?

²⁴ And so be it, about three months after, they tell Yah Hudah, saying, Tamar your daughter in law has whored; and also, behold, she conceived by whoredoms. And Yah Hudah says, Bring her, and burn her.

⁹ and Yoseph remembers the dreams he dreamed of them; and says to them, You are spies; you come to see the nakedness of the land. ¹⁰ And they say to him, No, my adoni; but your servants come to market for kernels for food: ¹¹ we are all sons of one man; we are upright, your servants are no spies. ¹² And he says to them, No! You come to see the nakedness of the land.

³¹ And we say to him, We are upright; we are no spies:

¹⁴ Bring him who abases outside the camp; and have all who hear him prop their hands on his head and have all the witness stone him.

²³ - and thus they work, and bring those five sovereigns to him from the cave: the sovereign of Yeru Shalem, the sovereign of Hebron, the sovereign of Yarmuth, the sovereign of Lachish, and the sovereign of Eglon.

³ And the governors of the sons of Ammon say to Hanun their adoni, In your eyes, is it because David honors your father, that he sends to sigh over you? Sends not David his servants to you to probe the city and to spy it out and to overturn it?

³ And the governors of the sons of Ammon say to Hanun, In your eyes, honors David your father, by sending to sigh over you? Come not his servants to you to probe and to overturn and to spy out the land?

³⁰ - that the evil are spared to the day of calamity? - to be brought forth to the day of fury?

⁴ Pilatos goes again and words to them, Behold, I bring him to you, so that you know I find no cause in him.

¹⁹ And so be it, the portals of Yeru Shalem begin to overshadow at the face of the shabbath, and I say to shut the gates and say to not open until after the shabbath: and I stand my lads at the portals, that no burden is brought in on the shabbath day.

¹¹ and your portals open continually - shut neither day nor night; to bring you the forces of the goyim, even their sovereigns are driven.

²⁰ In those days, and in that time, - an oracle of Yah Veh they seek the perversity of Yisra El, and there is none; and the sins of Yah Hudah, and they find them not: for I forgive them whom I leave remaining.

WATERS ISSUE FROM THE HOUSE
And he returns me to the opening of the house; and behold, waters issue forth from under the threshold of the house eastward; for the face of the house is eastward: and the waters descend from under from the right shoulder of the house at the south of the sacrifice altar: ² and he brings me from the way of the portal northward, and turns me around to the way outward to the outward portal by the way that faces eastward; and behold, waters pour on the right shoulder.

¹² And by the wadi on the lip, from here and from there, all the trees ascend for food - whose leaf neither withers, nor is the fruit consumed: it brings forth new fruit according to his months because their waters issue from the holies: and the fruit is for food and the leaf for healing.

⁷ For if the truth of Elohim superabounds to his glory in my lie; why am I yet also judged as a sinner? ⁸ And not, exactly as we are blasphemed, and exactly as some say that we word, Do evil, so that good comes? - whose judgment is just.

²⁵ and the gates thereof are never no way shut by day; for there is no night there:

⁸ When you build a new house, work a parapet for your roof, so if in falling, any man falls from there you set not blood on your house.

⁸ And ere they lie down, she ascends to them on the roof;

² And so be it, at evening time, David rises from his bed and walks on the roof of the house of the sovereign: and from the roof he sees a woman baptizing herself; and the woman is of mighty good visage.

¹⁹ and the woman takes a covering and spreads it over the face of the well; and spreads grits thereon; and the word is not known.

⁴ And so be it, Iy Zebel cuts off the prophets of Yah Veh, and Obad Yah takes a hundred prophets and hides the men in a cave by fifties; and sustains them with bread and water.

¹³ Has not my adoni been told what I worked; when Iy Zebel slaughtered the prophets of Yah Veh; how I hid a hundred men of the prophets of Yah Veh - by fifty men in a cave and sustained them with bread and water?

¹⁸ In that day Yah Veh cuts a covenant with Abram, saying, To your seed I gave this land - from the river of Misrayim to the great river - the river Euphrates: ¹⁹ the Qeyniy and the Qenaziy and the Qadmoniy ²⁰ and the Hethiy and the Perizziy and the Rephaim ²¹ and the Emoriy and the Kenaaniy and the Girgashiy and the Yebusiy.

⁶ And he says, I - Elohim of your father; Elohim of Abraham; Elohim of Yischaq and Elohim of Yaaqov. And Mosheh hides his face; for he awes to look on Elohim. ⁷ And Yah Veh says, In seeing, I see the humiliation of my people in Misrayim and hear their cry at the face of their exactors; for I know their sorrows; : ⁸ and I descend to deliver them from the hand of the Misrayim - ascend them from that land to a good and broad land to a land flowing with milk and honey; to the place of the Kenaaniy and the Hethiy and the Emoriy and the Perizziy and the Hivviy and the Yebusiy;

²⁷ I send my fear at your face and agitate all the people to whom you come and I give so that all your enemies turn their neck to you:

²⁵ I begin, this day, to give the fear of you and the awe of you on the face of the people under the whole of the heavens, who hear the report of you and quiver - who writhe at your face.

²⁵ No man is able to stand at your face: for Yah Veh your Elohim gives the fear of you and the awesomeness of you on the face of all the land you tread on, as he worded to you.

¹⁰ and all people of the earth see the name of Yah Veh called upon you; and they awe you:

⁸ When Elyon had the goyim to inherit, when he separated the sons of humanity, he stationed the borders of the people according to the number of the sons of Yisra El.

¹¹ we hear and our hearts melt, and no more spirit/wind rises in any man at your face: for Yah Veh your Elohim is Elohim in the heavens above and on the earth below.

¹⁴ And his friend answers and says, This is none other except the sword of Gidon the son of Yah Ash - a man of Yisra El: Elohim gives Midyaniy and all the camp into his hand.

¹⁵ And they tremble in the camp, in the field, and among all the people: the standing camp and the ruiners also tremble; and the earth quakes - and so be it, a trembling of Elohim: ¹⁶ and the watchers of Shaul in Gibah of Ben Yamin see; and behold, the multitude melts away and they go on - descending and hammering.

¹⁰ and he who also is the son of valour whose heart is as the heart of a lion, in melting, he melts: for all Yisra El knows that your father is mighty and they with him are sons of valour.

¹⁵ And he returns to the man of Elohim - he and all his camp and come and stand at his face: and he says, Behold, now I know there is no Elohim in all the earth except in Yisra El: and now, I beseech you, take a blessing of your servant.

⁶ for Adonay has the camp of the Aramiy hear a voice of chariots and a voice of horses - the voice of a great valiant. And they say man to brother, Behold, the sovereign of Yisra El hires against us the sovereigns of the Hethiy and the sovereigns of the Misrayim to come against us.

²⁵ I know that my redeemer lives and rises at the latter on the dust;

¹⁰ The wicked sees and vexes - gnashes his teeth and melts away; the desire of the wicked destructs.

¹⁶ The heavens - the heavens, are to Yah Veh; but he gives the earth to the sons of humanity.

¹² Though a sinner works evil a hundred times and prolongs, yet surely I know that it is good with them who awe Elohim - who awe at his face:

THE BURDEN OF MISRAYIM
The burden of Misrayim: Behold, Yah Veh rides upon a swift thick cloud and comes to Misrayim: and the idols of Misrayim totter at his face, and the heart of Misrayim melts in its midst:

⁵ I - I worked the earth with humanity and the animal on the face of the earth by my great strength and by my spread arm; and gave it to whom were straight in my eyes.

¹⁰ she is empty and void and wasted: and the heart melts and the knees knock and much pain in all loins; and all their faces gather flushness.

¹⁵ Am I not allowed to do what I will with my own? Is your eye evil because I am good?

TRUST
And trust is the substance of our hoping; the proof of the unseen. ² For in this, the elders were witnessed to.

²¹ And Mosheh spreads his hand over the sea; and Yah Veh turns back the sea by a strong east wind all that night and parches the sea and splits the waters. ²² And the sons of Yisra El go midst the sea on the dry: and the waters are a wall to them on their right and on their left. ²³ And the Misrayim pursue and go in after them midst the sea - all the horses of Paroh, his chariots and his cavalry. ²⁴ And so be it, in the morning watch, Yah Veh looks to the camp of the Misrayim through the pillar of fire and of the cloud and agitates the camp of the Misrayim; ²⁵ and clogs* their chariot wheels so that they drive them with heaviness: so that the Misrayim say, Let us flee from the face of Yisra El; for Yah Veh fights for them against the Misrayim. *clogs: see Lamsa ²⁶ And Yah Veh says to Mosheh, Spread your hand over the sea, and return the waters on the Misrayim on their chariots and on their cavalry. ²⁷ And Mosheh spreads his hand over the sea and the sea returns perennial at the face of the morning; and the Misrayim flee from confronting it; and Yah Veh shakes off the Misrayim midst the sea: ²⁸ and the waters return and cover the chariots and the cavalry and all the valiant of Paroh who come into the sea after them; not even one of them survives. ²⁹ And the sons of Yisra El walk on dry midst the sea; and the waters are a wall to them on their right and on their left: ³⁰ and that day, Yah Veh saves Israel from the hand of the Misrayim; and Yisra El sees the Misrayim die on the sea edge: ³¹ and Yisra El sees the great hand Yah Veh worked on the Misrayim: and the people awe Yah Veh and trust Yah Veh and his servant Mosheh.

¹⁴ The people hear and quiver: pangs take hold on them who settle Pelesheth:

²¹ And Yisra El sends angels to Sichon sovereign of the Emoriy, saying, ²² Let me pass through your land: we neither deviate into the fields or into the vineyards; nor drink of the waters of the well: but we go along by the way of the sovereign until we pass your borders. ²³ And Sichon gives not Yisra El to pass through his border: but Sichon gathers all his people together and goes and confronts Yisra El in the wilderness: and he comes to Yahsah who fights Yisra El: ²⁴ and Yisra El smites him with the mouth of the sword and possesses his land from Arnon to Yabboq to the sons of Ammon: for the border of the sons of Ammon is strong. ²⁵ And Yisra El takes all these cities: and Yisra El settles in all the cities of the Emoriy, in Heshbon and in all the daughters thereof. ²⁶ For Heshbon is a city of Sichon the sovereign of the Emoriy, who fought the head sovereign of Moab and takes all his land from his hand, to Arnon. ²⁷ So they who proverbialize say, Come into Heshbon, build the city of Sichon and prepare: ²⁸ for there a fire goes from Heshbon a flame from the city of Sichon: it consumes Ar of Moab and the masters of the bamahs of Arnon. ²⁹ Woe to you, Moab! ¹⁴ The people hear and quiver: pangs take hold on them who settle Pelesheth:

²⁸ Where ascend we? Our brothers melted our heart, saying, The people is greater and more exalted than we; the cities are great and fortified to the heavens; and we also saw the sons of the Anakiy there.

³⁹ Know this day, and return it in your heart, that Yah Veh is Elohim in the heavens above and on the earth beneath - none else.

⁸ And the officers word again to the people, and say, What man awes, and is tender of heart? Have him go and return to his house, lest the heart of his brothers melt as well as his heart.

⁸ and my brothers who ascended with me melted the heart of the people; but I fully followed after Yah Veh my Elohim.

⁶⁰ that all the people of the earth may know that Yah Veh is Elohim - no one else.

¹⁴ I am poured as water and all my bones separate; my heart is as wax melted midst my inwards;

¹⁸ so that they know that you, whose name alone is Yah Veh, are Elyon over all the earth.

¹⁵ And the goyim awe the name of Yah Veh and all the sovereigns of the earth your honor.

⁷ So all hands slacken and every heart of man melts;

And David says, Remain there yet any of the house of Shaul to work mercy for sake of Yah Nathan?

ON OATHING BY THE NAME OF YAH VEH
Neither oath by my name falsely, nor profane the name of your Elohim: I - Yah Veh.

² When a man vows a vow to Yah Veh, or oaths an oath to bind a bond on his soul, he profanes not his word; he works according to all proceeding from his mouth.

REVENGE OF THE GIBONIY

²¹ And she says, According to your words, so be it. and she sends them away and they go; and she binds the scarlet cord in the window.

²³ And the lads, the spies go in, and bring out Rachab and her father and her mother and her brothers and all she has; and they bring out all her family, and leave them outside the camp of Yisra El:

⁵ they see; thus they marvel: they terrify; and haste away: ⁶ trembling holds them there - pangs, as of birthing.

¹³ As the cold of snow in the day of harvest, thus is a trustworthy ambassador to them who send him; for he restores the soul of his adonim.
