⁴ I incline my ear to a proverb; I open my riddle on the harp.

² Son of humanity, propound a riddle, and proverbialize a proverb to the house of Yisra El;

⁴⁹ Then I say, Aha, Adonay Yah Veh! they say of me, Proverbializes he not proverbs?

Treasure not for yourselves treasures on earth; where moth and rust dissolve and where thieves break through and steal:

¹³ So I speak to them in parables: because in observing, they observe not; and hearing, they hear not; and they comprehend not.

THE PURPOSE OF PARABLES
Yah Shua speaks all these to the multitude in parables; and speaks not to them apart from a parable:

²⁸ and they strip him, and put a scarlet robe on him:

⁵¹ And a youth follows him, who arrays his nakedness in linen; and the youths overpower him: ⁵² and he leaves the linen, and flees from them naked.

And he words a parable to those called - heeding how they select the preeminent recliners; wording to them,

²⁹ His disciples word to him, Behold, now you speak boldly and word no proverb:

¹² For now we see obscurely as through a mirror; but then, face to face: now I know by part; but then I know exactly as also I am known.
