THE FIFTH LAMENTATION
Remember, O Yah Veh, what becomes us; look and see our reproach: ² our inheritance is turned to strangers; our houses to strangers: ³ we are orphans and fatherless; our mothers as widows: ⁴ we drank our water for money; our timber comes at a price; ⁵ they pursue our necks; we labor and rest not: ⁶ we gave a hand to the Misrayim - to Ashshuriym, to satisfy with bread; ⁷ our fathers sinned and are not; and we bear their perversities: ⁸ servants reign over us; no one separates us from their hand: ⁹ we get our bread by our souls because of the sword of the wilderness: ¹⁰ our skin shrivels as an oven because of the raging famine. ¹¹ They humble the women in Siyon and the virgins in the cities of Yah Hudah; ¹² governors are hanged by their hand; the faces of elders are not esteemed: ¹³ they lift the young men to grind and the lads stumble under the timber: ¹⁴ the elders shabbathize from the portal - the young men from their strumming: ¹⁵ the joy of our heart shabbathizes; our round dance turns into mourning; ¹⁶ the crown is fallen from our head; woe to us, for we sinned! ¹⁷ For this our heart bleeds; for these our eyes darken. ¹⁸ For the mountain of Siyon is desolate; the foxes walk on it. ¹⁹ You, O Yah Veh, settle eternally; your throne from generation to generation. ²⁰ Why forget us in perpetuity? - forsake us for length of days of time? ²¹ Return us to you, O Yah Veh and we return; renew our days as of antiquity. ²² For in spurning, you spurn us; you enrage mightily against us.

³ And they say to me, The survivors who survived the captivity there in the jurisdiction are in great evil and reproach: and the wall of Yeru Shalem is broken down and the portals thereof are burned with fire.

⁸ Remember, I beseech you, the word you misvahed your servant Mosheh, saying, If you treason I scatter you abroad among the people:

⁴ Hear, O our Elohim; for we are disrespected: turn their reproach on their own head and give them for plunder in the land of captivity:

⁷ O remember that my life is wind/spirit; my eye returns not to see good.

⁹ Remember, I beseech you, that you worked me as the clay; and return me to dust.

¹³ you set us a reproach to our fellow tabernaclers; a derision and a ridicule to them all around us: ¹⁴ you set us a proverb among the goyim - a shaking of the head among the nations: ¹⁵ all day my shame is in front of me; the shame of my face covers me: ¹⁶ because of his voice who reproaches and blasphemes at the face of the enemy and avenger.

¹⁰ O Elohim, until when reproaches the tribulator? - the enemy scorn your name in perpetuity? ¹¹ Why turn your hand back - even your right? Finish it from your bosom.

⁴ We are a reproach to our fellow tabernaclers; a derision and ridicule to all around us.

¹² and return sevenfold to the bosom of our fellow tabernaclers - for the reproach wherewith they reproach you, O Adonay.

⁵⁰ Remember, O Adonay, the reproach of your servants; how in my bosom I bear all the great people; ⁵¹ whom your enemies reproached, O Yah Veh - reproached the heelprints of your anointed.

³ Grant us charism, O Yah Veh, grant us charism; for we abundantly satiate with disrespectsake ⁴ our soul abundantly satiates with the derision of them who relax - with the disrespect of the pompous.

¹⁵ O Yah Veh, you know: remember me and visit me and avenge me of my pursuers; take me not away in the length of your wrath: know that for your sake, I bear reproach.

²⁰ See, O Yah Veh, for I tribulate; my inwards foam; my heart turns within me; in rebelling, I rebelled: outwardly the sword bereaves; as death in the house:

¹⁵ All who pass by the way clap their palms at you; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Yeru Shalem, Is this the city of whom is said, Total beauty? - the joy of the whole earth?

²⁰ See, O Yah Veh, and look to whom you thus exploit. Are the women to eat their fruit - infants of a palm span? - priest and the prophet slaughtered in the holies of Adonay?

¹⁹ remember my humiliation and my persecution - the wormwood and the rosh.

⁶¹ You hear their reproach, O Yah Veh, and all their machinations against me;

² O Yah Veh, I hear your report, and awe: O Yah Veh, enliven your deeds midst the years, midst the years make known; in quivering, remember mercy.

⁴² And he words to Yah Shua, Adonay, remember me whenever you come into your sovereigndom.

³⁰ You betroth a woman and another man rapes her; you build a house and you settle not therein; you plant a vineyard and pluck not thereof: ³¹ your ox, slaughtered in front of your eyes and you not eat thereof; your he burro, stripped at your face - never to return to you; your flocks, given to your enemies and no one saves them: ³² your sons and your daughters, given to another people; and your eyes see, and fail for them all the day long; and there is no el in your hand. ³³ The fruit of your soil and all your labours, eaten by a people you know not; and you become only oppressed and crushed all days: ³⁴ so that you become insane because of the visage your eyes see. ³⁵ Yah Veh smites you in the knees and in the legs, with an evil ulcer that cannot be healed, from the sole of your foot to your scalp: ³⁶ Yah Veh carries you and the sovereign you raise over you, to a goyim whom neither you nor your fathers know; and there you serve other elohim - timber and stone. ³⁷ And you become a desolation, a proverb and a gibe, among all people Yah Veh drives you. ³⁸ You carry much seed to the field but ingather little; for the locust consumes it: ³⁹ you plant vineyards and serve them, but neither drink the wine nor gather the grapes; for the maggots eat them: ⁴⁰ you have olives throughout all your borders, but you anoint not with the oil; for your olive slips: ⁴¹ you birth sons and daughters but enjoy them not; for they go to captivity: ⁴² all your trees and fruit of your soil the locust possesses. ⁴³ The sojourner in your midst ascends upward and upward; and you descend downward and downward. ⁴⁴ He lends to you and you lend not to him: he becomes the head and you become the tail. ⁴⁵ And all these abasements come upon you and pursue you and overtake you until you become desolated - because you hearken not to the voice of Yah Veh your Elohim - to guard his misvoth and his statutes which he misvahed you: ⁴⁶ and they become for a sign and for an omen on you and on your seed eternally: ⁴⁷ because you serve not Yah Veh your Elohim with cheerfulness and with goodness of heart for the abundance of all ⁴⁸ - you serve the enemies Yah Veh sends against you in famine and in thirst and in nakedness and in want of all: and he gives a yoke of iron upon your neck, until he desolates you: ⁴⁹ Yah Veh lifts a goyim against you from afar - from the end of the earth, as the eagle flies; a goyim whose tongue you hear not; ⁵⁰ a goyim strong of face who neither exalts the face of the aged nor grants charism to the lads: ⁵¹ and he eats the fruit of your animals and the fruit of your soil until you desolate: and no crop survives - juice or oil or the fetus of your yoke or the riches of your flocks until he destroys you: ⁵² and he tribulates you in all your portals until your high and fortified walls topple - wherein you confided, throughout all your land: and he tribulates you in all your portals throughout all the land Yah Veh your Elohim gives you: ⁵³ and you eat the fruit of your own belly - the flesh of your sons and of your daughters; whom Yah Veh your Elohim gives you in the siege and in the distress, wherewith your enemies distress you: ⁵⁴ so that the man among you - tender and mighty delicate, his eye becomes evil toward his brother and toward the woman of his bosom and toward the remnant of his sons who remain: ⁵⁵ so that he gives not one of them of the flesh of his sons whom he eats: because he has none to survive him in the siege and in the distress, wherewith your enemies distress you in all your portals. ⁵⁶ The tender and delicate among you, who tests not to set the sole of her foot on the earth because of delicateness and tenderness, her eye becomes evil toward the man of her bosom and toward her son and toward her daughter ⁵⁷ and toward her fetus coming from between her feet and toward the sons she births: for she eats them covertly for lack of all in the siege and distress, wherewith your enemies distress you in your portals. ⁵⁸ If you guard not to work all the words of this torah inscribed in this scroll, to awe this honored and awesome name, YAH VEH YOUR ELOHIM; ⁵⁹ then Yah Veh makes your strokes marvelous and the strokes of your seed, great strokes and trustworthy; and evil sicknesses, trustworthy: ⁶⁰ and he restores on you all the diseases of Misrayim you feared at their face; and they adhere to you: ⁶¹ also every sickness and every stroke not inscribed in the scroll of this torah, Yah Veh ascends them on you until you desolate: ⁶² and you survive, few men in number, whereas you were as the stars of the heavens for abundance; all because you hear not the voice of Yah Veh your Elohim. ⁶³ And so be it, as Yah Veh rejoiced over you to well-please you and to abound you; thus Yah Veh rejoices over you to destroy you and to desolate you; and uproot you from the soil you go to possess: ⁶⁴ and Yah Veh scatters you among all people from the end of the earth to the end of the earth; and there you serve other elohim which neither you nor your fathers know - timber and stone. ⁶⁵ And among these goyim you neither blink nor rest the sole of your foot: and there Yah Veh gives you a quivering heart and failing of eyes and sorrow of soul: ⁶⁶ and suspends your life in front of you; and you fear day and night and trust not in your life: ⁶⁷ in the morning you say, O to give that it become evening! and at evening you say, O to give that it become morning! - for the fear of your heart that you fear and for the vision of your eyes that you see. ⁶⁸ And Yah Veh returns you to Misrayim with ships by the way I said to you, You see it never again: and there you sell yourselves to your enemies for servants and maids - and no man chattels you.

¹ Psalm: By Asaph. O Elohim, the goyim come into your inheritance - foul your holy manse - set Yeru Shalem on heaps; ² - give carcases of your servants for food to the flyers of the heavens; - the flesh of your mercied to the live beings of the earth;

⁷ Your land, a desolation; your cities, burned with fire: your soil, strangers devour in your presence - a desolation overthrown by strangers.

¹⁷ And the lambs graze after their word; and sojourners eat the parched areas of the fatlings.

¹⁸ The people of your holiness possessed but a little while: our tribulators trampled your holies.

¹² and turn their houses to others together with their fields and women: for I spread my hand on the settlers of the land - an oracle of Yah Veh.

²¹ and I give it into the hands of the strangers for a plunder; and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they profane it:

²⁴ And I bring the evil of the goyim to possess their houses: I also shabbathize the pomp of the strong; to profane their hallowed.

¹³ And their valuables become a plunder, and their houses a desolation: and they build houses, and settle not; and they plant vineyards, and drink not the wine.

²⁴ and I kindle my wrath and slaughter you with the sword; that your women become widows and your sons orphans.

⁸ Their widows are mighty to me above the sand of the seas: I bring on them - against the mother of the youths a ravager at noon: I fell her suddenly with terrors and anguish:

²¹ So give their sons to the famine and pour them by the hand of the sword; so that their women bereave and become widows; and their men become slaughtered; - their youths smitten by the sword in war.

³ Neither Ashshur saves us; nor ride we on horses: nor say we any more to the work of our hands, Our elohim: for in you the orphan is mercied.

⁴⁸ - you serve the enemies Yah Veh sends against you in famine and in thirst and in nakedness and in want of all: and he gives a yoke of iron upon your neck, until he desolates you:

JUDGMENT ON YERU SHALEM AND YAH HUDAH
For, behold, Adonay Yah Veh Sabaoth turns aside from Yeru Shalem and from Yah Hudah the support and the support - the whole support of bread and the whole support of water:

⁹ And take to yourself wheat and barley and beans and lentiles and millet and spelt and give them in one instrument; and work bread according to the number of the days you lie on your side - three hundred and ninety days you eat. ¹⁰ And the food you eat - twenty shekels a day by weight: from time to time you eat. ¹¹ And drink water by measure, the sixth of an hin: from time to time you drink. ¹² And eat it as barley ashcakes, and bake it with dung balls of human excrement in their eyes. ¹³ And Yah Veh says, Even thus the sons of Yisra El eat their fouled bread among the goyim, where I drive them. ¹⁴ And I say, Aha Adonay Yah Veh! behold, my soul is not fouled: for from my youth up even until now I neither ate of a carcase or torn; nor came stench of flesh into my mouth. ¹⁵ And he says to me, See, I give you cow dung for human dung balls and work your bread therewith. ¹⁶ And he says to me, Son of humanity, behold, I break the rod of bread in Yeru Shalem: and they eat bread by weight, and with concern; and they drink water by measure, and with astonishment: ¹⁷ so that they lack bread and water and astonish man with brother; and dissolve for their perversity.

⁶⁵ And among these goyim you neither blink nor rest the sole of your foot: and there Yah Veh gives you a quivering heart and failing of eyes and sorrow of soul: ⁶⁶ and suspends your life in front of you; and you fear day and night and trust not in your life:

³⁶ Behold, we are servants this day and the land you gave to our fathers to eat the fruit thereof and the good thereof, behold, we are servants therein: ³⁷ and it abounds produce to the sovereigns whom you give over us because of our sins: and they reign over our bodies and over our animals at their pleasure; and we are in great tribulation.

² Thus says Yah Veh to me; Work yourself bonds and yoke poles and give them on your neck;

⁸ And so be it, the goyim and sovereigndom who serve not the same Nebukadnets Tsar sovereign of Babel - who give not their neck under the yoke of the sovereign of Babel, I visit on that goyim - an oracle of Yah Veh, with the sword and with the famine and with the pestilence until I consume them by his hand.

¹¹ And the goyim who bring their neck under the yoke of the sovereign of Babel and serve him, I leave in their own soil - an oracle of Yah Veh to serve it and settle therein. ¹² And I worded to Sidqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the sovereign of Babel; and serve him and his people, and live.

¹⁴ For thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth Elohim of Yisra El: I give a yoke pole of iron on the neck of all these goyim, to serve Nebukadnets Tsar sovereign of Babel; and they serve him: and I also give him the live beings of the field.

¹⁴ the yoke of my rebellions is bound by his hand - entwined and ascend on my neck; he falters my force; Adonay gives me into their hands; I am not able to rise.

¹⁹ Our pursuers are swifter than the eagles of the heavens: they pursue us on the mountains; they lurk for us in the wilderness:

²⁹ take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and humble in heart: and find rest to your souls:

¹⁰ so now, why test you Elohim, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

² and Abraham says to the elder servant of his house who reigns over all he has, Put, I pray you, your hand under my flank:

¹⁵ And he goes from there, and he finds Yah Nadab the son of Rechab coming to meet him: and he blesses him, and says to him, Is your heart as straight as my heart with your heart? And Yah Nadab says, So be it. If so be it, give your hand. And he gives his hand; and ascends him to himself in the chariot;

HO TO THE REVOLTING SONS
Ho to the revolting sons - an oracle of Yah Veh who work counsel, but not mine; and who pour a pouring, but not of my spirit, who scrape up sin to sin: ² who walk to descend into Misrayim, and ask not at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the stronghold of Paroh, and to seek refuge in the shadow of Misrayim! ³ So the stronghold of Paroh becomes your shame; and the trust in the shadow of Misrayim your shame. ⁴ For his governors were at Soan and his angels touched Hanes: ⁵ they all shame by a people who benefit them not - neither a help nor benefit - but for shame and also for reproach. ⁶
THE BURDEN OF THE ANIMALS OF THE SOUTH
The burden of the animals of the south: Into the land of tribulation and distress from whence the roaring lion and the old lion, the hisser and flying seraph - who bear their valuables on the shoulders of colts and their treasures on the humps of camels to a people who benefit them not.

HO TO THEM WHO LOOK NOT UPON THE HOLY ONE
Ho to them who descend to Misrayim for help; and lean on horses and confide in chariots because they are many; and in cavalry because they are mighty mighty; and neither look to the Holy One of Yisra El nor seek Yah Veh. ² Yet he also is wise and brings evil and turns not aside his words: but rises against the house of the vilifiers, and against the help of them who work mischief. ³ And the Misrayim are human, and not El; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When Yah Veh spreads his hand the helper falters and the helped falls and they all finish together.

⁹ and you stroll to the sovereign with ointment and abound your perfumes; and send your ambassadors afar off and debase yourself to sheol:

¹⁸ And now what is it to you in the way of Misrayim to drink the waters of Shichor? Or what is it to you in the way of Ashshur to drink the waters of the river?

³⁶ Why gad you about so mightily to change your way? Even of Misrayim, you shame as you shamed of Ashshur.

¹² and I take the survivors of Yah Hudah, who set their faces to enter the land of Misrayim to sojourn there: and they all are consumed, and fall in the land of Misrayim; - consumed by the sword and by the famine: they die, from the least even to the greatest, by the sword and by the famine: and they become an oath and a desolation and an abasement and a reproach: ¹³ and I visit on them who settle in the land of Misrayim, as I visited on Yeru Shalem - by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence: ¹⁴ so that not one of the survivors of Yah Hudah, who go into the land of Misrayim to sojourn there - escapees or survivors return to the land of Yah Hudah, to which they lifted their soul to return to settle there: for no one returns except such as escape.

¹⁵ Shout against her all around: she gives her hand: her foundations fallen; her walls overthrown: for it is the avengement of Yah Veh: avenge on her; as she worked, work to her:

¹⁸ seeing he despises the oath by breaking the covenant, and behold, he gives his hand to work all these; he escapes not.

¹³ And Ephrayim sees his sickness and Yah Hudah sees his sore; and Ephrayim goes to the Ashshuri and sends to sovereign Yareb to plead: yet he can neither heal you nor cure you of your sore.

¹¹ and Ephrayim is as a deluded dove without heart: they call to Misrayim; they go to Ashshur:

³ they settle not in the land of Yah Veh; and Ephrayim returns to Misrayim, and they eat the foul in Ashshur.

¹ Ephrayim grazes on wind and pursues the easterly; every day he abounds lies and ravages: and they cut a covenant with the Ashshuri and bear oil to Misrayim.

¹³ And they say, Your servants are twelve brothers, the sons of one man in the land of Kenaan; and behold, the youngest is this day with our father and one is not.

³⁶ And Yaaqov their father says to them, You bereave me: Yoseph is not; and Shimon is not: and take you Ben Yamin away: all these are against me.

⁵ neither prostrate yourself to them, nor serve them: for I Yah Veh your Elohim am a jealous El, visiting the perversity of the fathers on the sons to the third and fourth of them who hate me;

⁸ The eye of him who sees me lurks not; your eyes are on me, and I am not.

²¹ And why lift you not my rebellion and pass away my perversity? for now I lie in the dust; and you seek me early - but I am not.

²⁰ We acknowledge, O Yah Veh, our wickedness, and the perversity of our fathers: for we sinned against you.

¹² and in working, you worked vilification above your fathers; for behold, every man of you walks after the warp of his evil heart that they not hearken to me:

¹⁵ Thus says Yah Veh: A voice is heard in Ramah - lamentation; weeping of bitterness: Rachel weeping for her sons refuses to sigh for her sons, because they are not.

²⁹ In those days, they say no more, The fathers eat sour grapes, and the teeth of the sons are dull.

² What mean you, that you proverbialize this proverb concerning the soil of Yisra El, saying, The fathers eat sour grapes, and the teeth of the sons dull?

⁵ Your fathers, where are they? And the prophets, live they eternally?

³² and you - you fulfill/shalam the measure of your fathers. ³³ You serpents! You progeny of vipers! How can you flee the judgment of Gay Hinnom/the Valley of Burning? ³⁴ Because of this, behold, I apostolize to you prophets and wise men and scribes: and of them, you slaughter and stake and of them, you scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city: ³⁵ so that all the just blood poured on the earth comes upon you - from the blood of just Abel - to the blood of Zechar Yah son of Berech Yah whom you murdered between the nave and the sacrifice altar. ³⁶ Amen! I word to you, All these come upon this generation.

²⁵ and he says, Curse Kenaan; he becomes a servant of servants to his brethren.

⁴³ The sojourner in your midst ascends upward and upward; and you descend downward and downward.

¹⁹ And Sanballat the Horoniy and Tobi Yah the servant the Ammoniy and Geshem the Arabiy hear; and they deride us and despise us and say, What is this word you work? Rebel you against the sovereign?

¹⁵ the former governors at my face are heavy to the people and take bread and wine of them, besides forty shekels of silver; also their lads dominate over the people: but I work not thus at the face of the awe of Elohim:

⁴ His children are far from salvation - crushed in the portal, none to rescue them;

⁷ You know I am not wicked; and there is no escape from your hand.

² lest he tear my soul like a lion - craunching, while there is none to rescue.

²² I beseech, discern this, you who forget Elohah, lest I tear in pieces and there be no one to rescue.

²² for a servant when he reigns; and a fool when he satiates with bread;

¹³ Yes, ere the day, I am he; and no one rescues from my hand: I work, and who turns it back?

¹⁰ And now I expose her vulva in the eyes of her lovers, and no man rescues her from my hand.

⁶ For I spare the settlers of the land no more - an oracle of Yah Veh. And behold, I present humanity - each man to the hand of his friend and to the hand of his sovereign; and they crush the land: and from their hand I rescue them not:

THE ANGEL OF YAH VEH VISITS GIDON
And an angel comes from Yah Veh, who settles under an oak in Ophrah - of Yah Ash the Abi Ezeriy: and his son Gidon threshes wheat by the winepress so that it flees from the face of the Midyaniy.

¹⁷ and he said, Far be it from me, O Yah Veh, that I work this. Is this the blood of the men who go with their souls? - and he willed to not drink it. These three mighty worked all these.

⁹ And Gedal Yah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan oaths to them and to their men, saying, Awe not to serve the Kesediym: settle in the land and serve the sovereign of Babel, and it well-pleases you. ¹⁰ As for me, behold, I settle at Mispeh, to stand at the face of the Kesediym who come to us: and you, gather wine and summer fruits and oil; and set them in your instruments: and settle in the cities you apprehend. ¹¹ And also, all the Yah Hudiym in Moab and among the sons of Ammon and in Edom and in all the lands, hear that the sovereign of Babel gives survivors of Yah Hudah, and that he has Gedal Yah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan oversee them; ¹² and all the Yah Hudiym return from all the places they were driven and come to the land of Yah Hudah - to Gedal Yah, to Mispeh, and gather wine and summer fruits mighty abounding.

And so be it, in the seventh month, Yishma El the son of Nethan Yah the son of Eli Shama of the seed of the sovereigndom, and the rabbis of the sovereign with ten men, go to Gedal Yah the son of Ahikam to Mispeh; and there they eat bread together in Mispeh. ² And Yishma El the son of Nethan Yah with the ten men rise and smite Gedal Yah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan with the sword; and execute him whom the sovereign of Babel made overseer over the land. ³ And Yishma El smites all the Yah Hudiym with him - with Gedal Yah at Mispeh - with the Kesediym they found there and the men of war. ⁴ And so be it, the second day after he executes Gedal Yah - and no man knows, ⁵ men come from Shechem from Shiloh and from Shomeron - eighty men with beards shaven and clothes ripped, and having incised - with offerings and incense in their hand to bring to the house of Yah Veh. ⁶ And Yishma El the son of Nethan Yah goes from Mispeh to meet them - weeping and walking as he goes: and so be it, as he meets them, he says to them, Come to Gedal Yah the son of Ahikam. ⁷ And so be it, they come midst the city, and Yishma El the son of Nethan Yah slaughters them midst the well - he and the men with him. ⁸ And they find ten men among them who say to Yishma El, Execute us not: for we hid treasures in the field - of wheat and of barley and of oil and of honey. - and he ceases and slaughters them not among their brothers. ⁹ And the well wherein Yishma El cast all the carcases of the men, whom he smote under the hand of Gedal Yah, was the one Asa the sovereign worked at the face of Basha sovereign of Yisra El: Yishma El the son of Nethan Yah fills it with the pierced: ¹⁰ and Yishma El captures all the survivors of the people in Mispeh - the daughters of the sovereign and all the people who survived in Mispeh; whom Nebu Zaradan the rabbi slaughterer mustered to Gedal Yah the son of Ahikam: and Yishma El the son of Nethan Yah captures them, and goes to pass over to the sons of Ammon.

¹⁴ saying, No! - but we enter the land of Misrayim where we neither see war nor hear the voice of the shophar nor hunger for bread - and there we settle:

O Elohim, you cast us off; you breached us; you angered: O return to us! ² You quaked the earth; you broke it: heal the breaches; for it totters:

⁹ Neither enrage not mightily, O Yah Veh, nor remember our perversity eternally: behold, look, we beseech you, - your people - all of us.

JUDGMENT
And Yah Veh says to me, Though Mosheh and Shemu El stand at my face, yet my soul is not toward this people: send them from my face, and go. ² And so be it, if they say to you, Where go we? you say to them, Thus says Yah Veh: Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for the captivity, to the captivity: ³ and upon them I visit four families - an oracle of Yah Veh the sword to slaughter and the dogs to drag and the flyers of the heavens and the animals of the earth to devour and ruin: ⁴ and I give them for an agitation into all sovereigndoms of the earth, because of Menash Sheh the son of Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah, for what he worked in Yeru Shalem. ⁵ For who compassions you, O Yeru Shalem? And who wags over you? And who turns aside to ask of your shalom?

And he says to me, Son of humanity, these bones are the whole house of Yisra El: behold, they say, Our bones withers and our hope destructs: we are cut off for our parts.
