¹⁸ and bring you in front of governors and sovereigns for my sake, in a witness against them and the goyim.

¹ Why do the goyim conspire and the nations meditate vanity? ² The sovereigns of the earth station themselves and the potentates set counsel together against Yah Veh and against his anointed. ³ Tear their bands and cast their ropes from us. ⁴ He who settles in the heavens laughs; Adonay derides them; ⁵ then he words to them in his wrath and terrifies them in his fuming. ⁶ And I - I anointed my sovereign on my holy mount Siyon;

⁴ And Yah Shua words to him, See that you say to no one; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the oblation Mosheh ordered for a witness to them.

⁹ But observe to yourselves: for they betray you to sanhedrim; and flog you in the synagogues: and set you in front of governors and sovereigns for my sake - for a witness against them:

²⁵ But one comes and evangelizes them, wording, Behold, the men you put in the guardhouse are standing in the priestal precinct, doctrinating the people. ²⁶ Then the strategoi goes with the attendants and brings them without violence: that they not be stoned; for they awed the people. ²⁷ And they bring them and set them in the sanhedrim: and the archpriest asks them,

FIFTH PERSECUTION
And about that season Herod the sovereign lays on his hands to vilify some of the ecclesia: ² and he takes out Yaaqovos the brother of Yahn with the sword: ³ and because he sees it pleases the Yah Hudiym, he adds to also take out Petros - these are the days of matsah: ⁴ and he seizes him and puts him in the guardhouse and delivers him to four quaternions of warriors to guard him; and wills to bring him to the people after pasach.

³³ who, when they enter Kaisaria, and give the epistle to the governor, they also present Paulos in front of him. ³⁴ And the governor reads, and he asks of what province he is. And when he asks, he says, Of Cilicia.

THE ACCUSATION OF TERTULLUS AGAINST PAULOS
And after five days Hanan Yah the archpriest descends with the elders and with some orator named Tertullus who manifests to the governor against Paulos. ² And when he is called, Tertullus begins to accuse him, wording, Seeing that through you we obtain vast shalom, and that by your provision very worthy deeds become this goyim, ³ we receive it every way and everywhere, most powerful Phelix, with all eucharist. ⁴ But so that I hinder you no more, I beseech you, in your gentleness, to hear us concisely. ⁵ For we find this man pestilent and stirring riot among all the Yah Hudiym throughout the world, and a prime officer of the heresy of the Nazarenes: ⁶ who also tested to profane the priestal precinct: whom we overpowered and willed to judge according to our torah. ⁷ But chiliarch Lysias passed by, and with much violence, took him from our hands, ⁸ summoning his accusers to come to you: who, by your examining, can know about all these whereof we accuse him. ⁹ - and the Yah Hudiym also covenant, professing that these are thus. ¹⁰
PAULOS PLEADS TO PHELIX
And after the governor nods to him to word, Paulos answers, I understand that for many years you have been a judge to this goyim, I plead the more cheerfully concerning myself: ¹¹ because you can know that there are yet no more than twelve days from my ascending to Yeru Shalem to worship: ¹² and they neither found me in the priestal precinct reasoning with anyone, nor making the multitude conspire - neither in the synagogues nor in the city: ¹³ neither can they present those about which they now accuse me. ¹⁴ But this I profess to you, that after the way they word, heresy, thus liturgize I the Elohim of my fathers, trusting all which are scribed in the torah and in the prophets: ¹⁵ and have hope in Elohim - whom they themselves also await: that there is about to be a resurrection of the dead - both of the just and unjust. ¹⁶ And in this I exercise myself, to continually have a conscience void of offence toward Elohim and humanity. ¹⁷ And through many years I come to do mercies and offerings to my goyim: ¹⁸ whereupon some Yah Hudiym from Asia found me hallowed in the priestal precinct - neither with multitude nor with tumult: ¹⁹ who need to be here, present by you, and accuse, if they have aught against me. ²⁰ Or else have these same here say, if they find any injustice in me, while I stand in front of the sanhedrim; ²¹ - other than about this one voice, that I cried standing among them. Concerning the resurrection of the dead I am judged by you this day. ²² And hearing these, Phelix delays them, to have more exact knowledge concerning that way; and says, When Lysias the chiliarch descends, I know exactly as to you. ²³ And he ordains a centurion to guard Paulos and that he have relaxation; and to forbid none of his own to tend him or come to him. ²⁴
THE WITNESS OF PAULOS TO PHELIX
And after some days, Phelix comes with his woman Drusilla - being a Yah Hudiy, he summons Paulos, and hears him concerning the trust in the Messiah: ²⁵ and as he reasons concerning justness, self-control, and the judgment about to be, Phelix becomes awestricken, and answers, Go your way for now; when I partake a season, I call for you. ²⁶ He hopes simultaneously that Paulos gives him riches, so as to loose him: so he summons him the oftener, and homologizes with him.

⁸ So neither shame of the witness of our Adonay, nor of me his prisoner: but co-suffer in the evangelism according to the dynamis of Elohim;

¹⁶ In my first pleading no one convened with me, but all forsook me: so be it not reckoned to them. ¹⁷ And Adonay stood by me and dynamized me; to fully bear the preaching through me; and that all the goyim hear: and I was rescued from the mouth of the lion:

-I Yahn also your brother and co-partaker in tribulation and in the sovereigndom and endurance of Yah Shua Messiah, became in the isle called Patmos for the word of Elohim and for the witness of Yah Shua Messiah.

And when he opens the fifth seal, I see under the sacrifice altar the souls of them slaughtered for the word of Elohim and for the witness they held.

⁷ And when they complete/shalam their witness, the beast ascends from the abyss makes war with them and triumphs over them and slaughters them:
