⁷ behold the mighty who sets not Elohim as his stronghold - who confides in the abundance of his riches - who strengthens himself in his calamity.

¹⁰ Neither confide in oppression nor rob in vain; if your valuables flourish, set not your heart.

²⁸ He who confides in his riches, falls; and the just blossom as a leaf.

⁵ Flit your eyes thereon; and it is not: for in working, they work wings; they fly away as an eagle toward the heavens.

⁸ there is one; and there is no second: yes, he has neither son nor brother; yet he neither ends his toil nor satisfies his eye with riches: For whom toil I, that my soul lacks good? This is also vanity; yes, an evil drudgery.

¹⁰ Neither is he who loves silver, satisfied with silver; nor he who loves abundance, with produce: this is also vanity. ¹¹ When good abounds, they who eat abound by the myriads; and what prosperity is there to the masters - except seeing with their eyes?

¹³ There is an evil stroke I saw under the sun - riches guarded for the master, for his evil: ¹⁴ and those riches destruct by evil drudgery; and he births a son - and naught is in his hand.

³ For thus says Yah Veh to the men of Yah Hudah and Yeru Shalem, Till your tillage; seed not among thorns:

SERVING TWO ADONIM
No one can serve two adonim: for either he hates the one and loves the other; or else he upholds the one and disesteems the other: you cannot serve Elohim and mammon. ²⁵ So I word to you, neither be anxious for your soul - what you eat or what you drink; nor yet for your body - what you endue. Is not indeed the soul much more than nourishment? And the body than enduement?

⁷ And others fall among thorns; and the thorns ascend and choke them.

ETERNAL LIFE
And behold, one comes to him, saying, Good Doctor, what good do I to have eternal life? ¹⁷ And he says to him, Why word you me, good? None is good except one - Elohim: but if you will to enter life, guard the misvoth. ¹⁸ He words to him, Which? Yah Shua says, Murder not: Adulterize not: Steal not: Pseudo witness not: ¹⁹ Honor your father and your mother: and, Love your neighbor as yourself. ²⁰ The youth words to him, I guarded all these from my youth: What lack I still? ²¹ Yah Shua says to him, If you will to be complete/at shalom, go and sell what you have and give to the poor; and have treasure in the heavens: and come and follow me. ²² But the youth hears that word, and goes away sorrowful: for he has vast possessions. ²³
THE RICH AND THE SOVEREIGNDOM
So Yah Shua says to his disciples, Amen! I word to you, That a rich man difficultly enters the sovereigndom of the heavens. ²⁴ And again I word to you, It is easier for a rope ^* to pass through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the sovereigndom of Elohim. ^{*rope: see Lamsa}

¹⁸ And these are they spored among thorns; such as hear the word: ¹⁹ and the anxieties of this eon and the deceitfulness of riches and the remaining pantings enter and strangle the word; and it becomes unfruitful.

YAH SHUA AND RICHES
And Yah Shua looks around and words to his disciples, How difficultly they who have riches enter the sovereigndom of Elohim! ²⁴ - and the disciples astonish at his words. And again Yah Shua answers them, wording, Children, how difficult for them who confide in riches to enter the sovereigndom of Elohim! ²⁵ It is easier for a rope ^* to pass through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the sovereigndom of Elohim. ^{*see Lamsa}

¹⁴ And that falling among thorns are they who hear and go; and are strangled by anxieties and riches and pleasures of existence and bring no fruit to completion/shalom.

¹⁵ And he says to them, See, and guard against avarice: for the life of one is not in the super abundance of his holdings.

²¹ Thus is he who treasures for himself, and is not rich toward Elohim.

²⁹ And neither seek what to eat or what to drink; nor be in suspense: ³⁰ for all these the goyim of the cosmos seek after: and your Father knows you need these:

¹⁶ But he says to him, A human made a mega supper and called many: ¹⁷ and apostolized his servant at supper hour to say to the called, Come! For all are already prepared. ¹⁸ - and they all begin to beg off. The first says to him, I bought a field, and I need go and see it: I ask you that I beg off. ¹⁹ And another says, I bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I ask you that I beg off. ²⁰ And another says, I married a woman, and because of this I cannot come. ²¹ So that servant comes, and evangelizes these to his adoni. ²⁴ And Yah Shua sees that he becomes exceeding sorrowful; and he says, How difficultly they who have riches enter the sovereigndom of Elohim! ²⁵ For it is easier for a rope ^* to enter through the eye of a needle, than for the rich to enter the sovereigndom of Elohim. ^{*see Lamsa}

³⁴ And heed to yourselves, lest ever your hearts burden with hangovers and intoxication and anxieties of existence, so that day stands by you unawares.

HANAN YAH AND SAPPHIRA LIE TO THE HOLY SPIRIT
But a man named Hanan Yah, with Sapphira his woman, sell a possession; ² and keep back of the price - his woman also being aware; and brings a part and places it at the feet of the apostles. ³ But Petros says, Hanan Yah, why has Satan filled/shalamed your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit, to keep back of the price of the parcel? ⁴ In abiding, abode it not indeed yours? And, being sold, was it in your own authority? Why place you this matter in your heart? ¹⁸ And when Shimon observes that the Holy Spirit is given through laying on of the hands of the apostles, he offers them riches,

⁹ And whoever wills to be rich falls into testing and a snare; and into many mindless and injurious pantings, which sink humanity in ruin and destruction. ¹⁰ For befriending silver is the root of all evil: which, while some reach for, strayed from the trust and pierced themselves through with many griefs.

WARNING THE RICH
Evangelize them who are rich in this eon, that they neither be highminded nor hope in uncertain riches - but in the living Elohim who presents us richly to enjoy all;

¹⁰ for Demas forsook me, loving this present eon; and departed to Thessalonikee; Crescens to Galatia; Titus to Dalmatia:

¹⁴ eyes full of adultery, and restless from sin; entrapping unstable souls; a heart exercised with avarice; children of curse ¹⁵ who forsake the straight way and wander; following the way of Bilam of Beor who loved the rewards of injustice;

LOVING THE COSMOS
Neither love the cosmos, nor those in the cosmos: whenever anyone loves the cosmos the love of the Father is not in him. ¹⁶ Because all that is in the cosmos - the panting of the flesh, and the panting of the eyes, and the pride of existence is not of the Father, but is of the cosmos.

¹¹ Woe to them! because they go in the way of Qayin and rush for reward after the seduction of Bilam and destruct in the controversy of Korach. ¹² These are reefs in your love as they revel with you, shepherding themselves fearlessly: waterless clouds carried about by winds, autumnal trees, unfruitful, twice dead, uprooted,
