THE TORAH ON A REVOLTING AND REBELLIOUS SON When a man has a revolting and rebellious son, who hearkens not to the voice of his father or the voice of his mother and that, when they discipline him, he hearkens not to them: ¹⁹ then his father and his mother capture him and bring him to the elders of his city and to the portal of his place; ²⁰ and they say to the elders of his city, This our son is revolting and rebellious, he hearkens not to our voice; he is a glutton and a carouser. ²¹ And all the men of his city stone him with stones and he dies: thus you burn evil from among you. - and all Yisra El hears and awes.

²⁶ And your carcase becomes food for all flyers of the heavens and for the animals of the earth and no man trembles them.

⁴⁴ And the Peleshethiy says to David, Come to me and I give your flesh to the flyers of the heavens and to the animals of the field.

THE DEATH OF ABI SHALOM
And Abi Shalom faces the servants of David: and Abi Shalom rides on a mule; and the mule goes under the thicket of a great oak; and the oak holds his head given between the heavens and between the earth; and the mule under him passes on. ¹⁰ And one man sees it and tells Yah Ab and says, Behold, I see Abi Shalom hang in an oak.

¹⁴ Then Yah Ab says, Not so: I await at your face. And he takes three scions in his palm and stakes them through the heart of Abi Shalom while he is yet alive in the heart of the oak: ¹⁵ and ten lads bearing the instruments of Yah Ab surround Abi Shalom and smite and deathify him: ¹⁶ and Yah Ab blasts the shophar and the people return from pursuing Yisra El: for Yah Ab restrains the people. ¹⁷ And they take Abi Shalom and cast him into a great pit in the forest and station a mighty great heap of stones on him: and all Yisra El flees every man to his tent.

¹⁰ And Rispah the daughter of Ajah takes saq and spreads it for her on the rock - from the beginning of harvest until water from the heavens pours on them and gives neither the flyers of the heavens to rest on them by day nor the live beings of the field by night.

²⁰ Whoever abases his father or his mother, extinguishes his lamp in mid darkness.

²² Hearken to your father who birthed you and disrespect not your mother when she ages.

¹¹ There is a generation who abases their father and blesses not their mother:
