²⁰ For they word not shalom; but fabricate words of deceit against them who rest in the land.

²⁰ he spreads his hands against such as are at shalom with him; he profanes his covenant;

³ For, behold, they lurk for my soul; the strong dodge against me: neither for my rebellion, nor for my sin, O Yah Veh.

¹⁴ perversion is in his heart; he inscribes evil at all times; he sends contention:

¹⁸ a heart inscribing mischievous fabrications; feet hastening to run to evil;

²² Stray they not, who inscribe evil? And mercy and truth to them who inscribe good?

²⁹ a man of violence entices his friend and walks him into the way - not good: ³⁰ He shuts his eyes to fabricate perversions; bites his lips to conclude evil.

¹⁸ And they say, Come! We fabricate fabrications against Yirme Yah; for neither the torah destructs from the priest nor counsel from the wise nor the word from the prophet: Come, and smite him with the tongue, and hearken not to any of his words. ¹⁹ Hearken to me, O Yah Veh, and hearken to the voice of them that contend with me. ²⁰ Shalam we evil for good?
