A PROMISE OF LIGHT
The people, walking in darkness, see a great light: settlers in the land of the shadow of death, upon them the light illuminates.

⁷ to open the eyes of the blind; to bring the bound from the lock up; those sitting in darkness from the prison house.

⁶ he sets me in dark places as the dead of old; ⁷ he walls me in so I cannot get out; he weights my copper:

⁸ Cheer not against me, O my enemy: when I fall, I rise; when I sit in darkness Yah Veh is my light.

¹⁶ the people sitting in darkness see a mega light; and to them sitting in the region and shadow of death light rises. ^{Isaiah 9:1, 2}

¹³ Then the sovereign says to the ministers, Bind him hand and foot and take him away and eject him into outer darkness; there becomes weeping and gnashing of teeth:

⁷⁹ to appear on them who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death; to direct our feet in the way of shalom.

²⁰ For when you were servants of sin, you were liberated from justness. ²¹ So what fruit had you in those whereof you are now ashamed? For the completion/shalom of those is death.
