DAVID ANOINTED SOVEREIGN
Then all the scions of Yisra El come to David to Hebron, and say, saying, Behold, we are your bone and your flesh. 2 Also three yesters ago, when Shaul was sovereign over us, it was you who brought out and brought in Yisra El: and Yah Veh said to you, Tend my people Yisra El! Be eminent over Yisra El! 3 So all the elders of Yisra El come to the sovereign to Hebron; and sovereign David cuts a covenant with them in Hebron at the face of Yah Veh: and they anoint David sovereign over Yisra El. 4 David is a son of thirty years when he begins to reign; and he reigns forty years. 5 In Hebron he reigns over Yah Hudah seven years and six months: and in Yeru Shalem he reigns thirty-three years over all Yisra El and Yah Hudah. 6 And the sovereign and his men go to Yeru Shalem to the Yebusiy, the settlers of the land: who say to David, saying, Unless you turn aside the blind and the lame, enter not here: and saying, David enters not here. 7 And David captures the stronghold of Siyon the city of David: 8 and David says on that day, Whoever touches to the culvert, and smites the Yebusiy and the lame and the blind, whom the soul of David hates. - because they say, The blind and the lame enter not into the house. 9 So David settles in the stronghold, and calls it the city of David; and David builds the house all around from Millo: 10 and in walking, David walks - walks and greatens; and Yah Veh Elohim Sabaoth is with him. 11 And Hiram sovereign of Sor sends angels to David - and cedar trees and artificers of timber and artificers of the stone for the wall; and they build David a house: 12 and David perceives that Yah Veh establishes him sovereign over Yisra El; and that he lifts his sovereigndom for sake of his people Yisra El. 13 And David takes more concubines and women from Yeru Shalem, after coming from Hebron: and sons and daughters are birthed to David. 14 And these are the names of those birthed unto him in Yeru Shalem: Shammuah and Shobab and Nathan and Shelomoh 15 and Yibchar and Eli Shua and Nepheg and Yaphia 16 and Eli Shama and El Ad and Eli Phelet. 17 And the Peleshethiy hear that they anoint David sovereign over Yisra El, all the Peleshethiy ascend to seek David; and David hears thereof and descends to the hold: 18 and the Peleshethiy come and disperse in the valley of Rephaim. 19 And David asks Yah Veh, saying, Ascend I to the Peleshethiy? Give you them into my hand? And Yah Veh says to David, Ascend! For in giving, I give the Peleshethiy into your hand. 20 And David comes to Baal Perasim, and David smites them there, and says, Yah Veh breaches my enemies at my face as the breach of waters: so he calls the name of that place Baal Perasim/Baal Breach. 21 And there they leave their idols, and David and his men lift them away: 22 and the Peleshethiy add to ascend and to disperse in the valley of Rephaim. 23 And David asks of Yah Veh, and he says, Ascend not; but go around behind them, and come upon them opposite the weepers: 24 and so be it, when you hear the voice of marching in the tops of the weepers, then you point: for then Yah Veh goes at your face, to smite the camp of the Peleshethiy. 25 And thus David works as Yah Veh misvahs him; and smites the Peleshethiy from Geba until you come to Gezer.

THE TRIUMPHS OF DAVID

And the Moabiy become servants of David to lift offerings. 3 And David smites Hadad Ezer the son of Rechob sovereign of Sobah as he goes to turn back his hand at the river Euphrates: 4 and David captures from him a thousand and seven hundred cavalry and twenty thousand men on foot: and David uproots/hamstrings all the chariots; only, a hundred of their chariots remain. 5 And when the Aramiy of Dammeseq come to help Hadad Ezer sovereign of Sobah, David smites of the Aramiy twenty-two thousand men: 6 and David sets stations in Aram of Dammeseq: and the Aramiy become servants to David to lift offerings. And Yah Veh saves David wherever he goes. 7 And David takes the shields of gold on the servants of Hadad Ezer and brings them to Yeru Shalem: 8 and from Betach and from Berothai cities of Hadad Ezer sovereign David takes mighty abounding copper. 9 And Toi sovereign of Hamath hears that David smites all the valiant of Hadad Ezer, 10 and Toi sends Yah Ram his son to sovereign David, to ask shalom of him and to bless him, because he had fought against Hadad Ezer and smote him - for Hadad Ezer was a man of wars with Toi. And in his hand are instruments of silver and instruments of gold and instruments of copper: 11 which sovereign David also hallowed to Yah Veh, with the silver and gold he hallowed of all goyim he subdued 12 - of Aram and of Moab and of the sons of Ammon and of the Peleshethiy and of Amaleq and of the spoil of Hadad Ezer son of Rechob sovereign of Sobah. 13 And David works himself a name when he returns from smiting eighteen thousand Aramiy in Gay Melach/Valley of Salt: 14 and he sets stations in Edom - he sets stations throughout all Edom and all they of Edom become servants of David: and Yah Veh saves David wherever he goes: 15 and David reigns over all Yisra El; and David works judgment and justness to all his people. 16 And Yah Ab the son of Seruyah is over the host; and Yah Shaphat the son of Achiy Lud is remembrancer; 17 and Sadoq the son of Achiy Tub and Achiy Melech the son of Abi Athar are priests; and Sera Yah is the scribe; 18 and Bena Yah the son of Yah Yada is over both the executioners and the couriers; and the sons of David are priests.

DAVID DEFEATS THE SONS OF AMMON AND THE ARAMIY
And so be it, afterward, the sovereign of the sons of Ammon dies and Hanun his son reigns in his stead. 2 And David says, I work mercy to Hanun the son of Nachash as his father worked mercy to me. And David sends to sigh over him by the hand of his servants concerning his father: and the servants of David come into the land of the sons of Ammon. 3 And the governors of the sons of Ammon say to Hanun their adoni, In your eyes, is it because David honors your father, that he sends to sigh over you? Sends not David his servants to you to probe the city and to spy it out and to overturn it? 4 And Hanun takes the servants of David and shaves off one half of their beards and cuts off their garments in the middle to their buttocks and sends them away. 5 And they tell David; and he sends to meet them; because the men shame mightily. And the sovereign says, Settle at Yericho until your beards sprout and return. 6 And the sons of Ammon see that they stink to David; and the sons of Ammon send and hire the Aramiy of Beth Rechob and the Aramiy of Sobah twenty thousand on foot; and of sovereign Maachah a thousand men; and of Ish Tob twelve thousand men: 7 and David hears and sends Yah Ab and all the host of the mighty: 8 and the sons of Ammon come and line up for war at the opening of the portal: and the Aramiy of Sobah and of Rechob and Ish Tob and Maachah are alone in the field. 9 And Yah Ab sees the face of the war is against him - at their face and behind; and he chooses from all the chosen of Yisra El and lines them up to meet the Aramiy: 10 and he gives the rest of the people into the hand of Abi Shai his brother, to line them up to meet the sons of Ammon. 11 And he says, If the Aramiy prevail over me, then you save me: but if the sons of Ammon prevail over you, then I come and save you. 12 Strengthen! - Strengthen for our people and for the cities of our Elohim: and Yah Veh works good in his eyes. 13 And Yah Ab and the people with him draw near to the war against the Aramiy: and they flee his face: 14 and the sons of Ammon see the Aramiy, and they also flee the face of Abi Shai and enter the city: and Yah Ab returns from the sons of Ammon and comes to Yeru Shalem. 15 And the Aramiy see they are smitten at the face of Yisra El, and they gather together: 16 and Hadar Ezer sends and brings the Aramiy beyond the river: and they come to Helam; and Shobach the governor of the host of Hadar Ezer goes from their face. 17 And they tell David, and he gathers all Yisra El and passes over Yarden and comes to Helam. And the Aramiy line up to meet David and fight him: 18 and the Aramiy flee the face of Yisra El; and David slaughters seven hundred chariots and forty thousand cavalry of the Aramiy; and smites Shobach the governor of their host who dies there. 19 And all the sovereigns, the servants to Hadar Ezer, see they are smitten at the face of Yisra El; and they shalam with Yisra El and serve them: and the Aramiy awe to save the sons of Ammon any more.

2 Samuel 21:15-22

15 And again the Peleshethiy war with Yisra El; and David descends with his servants and fights the Peleshethiy: and David flutters: 16 and Yishbo Be Nob, who is birthed to Rapha, whose spear weighs three hundred copper weight - being girded with a new one says of smitting David. 17 But Abi Shai the son of Seruyah helps him and smites the Peleshethiy and deathifies him. And the men of David oath to him, saying, Neither go anymore with us to war, nor quench the lamp of Yisra El. 18 And so be it, after this, there is war again with the Peleshethiy at Gob: then Sibbechay the Hushathiy smites Saph, who is birthed to Rapha. 19 And again there is war with the Peleshethiy in Gob, and El Hanan the son of Yaare Oregim a Beth Lechemiy smites Golyath the Gittiy the timber of whose spear is as the beam of a weaver: 20 and again there is war in Gath and there is a man of measure - the digits of his hands are six and the digits of his feet are six - twenty-four in number: and he also is birthed to Rapha: 21 and he reproaches Yisra El and Yah Nathan the son of Shimah the brother of David smites him. 22 These four are birthed to Rapha in Gath and fall by the hand of David and by the hand of his servants. ]
