¹² For innumerable evils surround me; my perversities overtake me so that I am not able to see; - mightier than the hairs of my head; and my heart forsakes me.

²⁸ and he says to his brothers, My silver is restored; and behold, even in my sack! And their hearts fail them and they tremble, saying man to brother, What is this that Elohim works to us?

¹² Inadvertent errors - who discerns? Exonerate me from the hidden;

¹¹ Be not far from me; for tribulation is near: for there is no helper. ¹² Many bullocks surround me; the mighty of Bashan surround me: ¹³ they gape on me with their mouths as a tearing and a roaring lion. ¹⁴ I am poured as water and all my bones separate; my heart is as wax melted midst my inwards; ¹⁵ my force is dried as a potsherd; my tongue adheres to my prey; you set me into the dust of death. ¹⁶ For dogs surround me; the witness of vilifiers surround me: my hands and my feet as a lion. ¹⁷ I scribe all my bones; they look and see me; ¹⁸ they allot my clothes among them and toss pebbles for my robe. ¹⁹ And you, O Yah Veh, be not far from me; O my might, hasten to help me:

⁴ For my perversities pass over my head; as a heavy burden, too heavy for me:

⁴ They who hate me gratuitously - my exterminators abound by the myriads; my enemies of falseness, are mighty; I restored what I stripped not.

²⁶ My flesh and my heart finish off; but Elohim is the rock of my heart and my allotment eternally.

³ the cords of death surround me and the straits of sheol find me: I find tribulation and grief:

⁶ We all strayed as a flock; - every man faced to his own way; and on him, Yah Veh met all our perversity.

¹³ And the customs agent, stands afar off, and wills not even so much as to lift his eyes to the heavens; but strikes on his chest, wording, Elohim, kapur/atone for me a sinner. ¹⁴ I word to you, this one descends to his house justified rather than the other: for everyone who exalts himself, is humbled; and whoever humbles himself, is exalted.
