SOVEREIGNS WEEP OVER THE FALL OF BABEL
And the sovereigns of the earth who whored and luxuriated with her, weep for her and chop over her when they see the smoke of her firing,

²⁸ and he looks at the face of Sedom and Amorah and at the face of all the land of the environs; and sees, and behold, the smoke of the land ascends as the smoke of a furnace.

²³ - and the whole land thereof of sulphur and salt and burning - neither seeded nor sprouting nor any herbage ascending therein - as the overthrow of Sedom and Amorah, Admah and Seboim whom Yah Veh overturned in his wrath and in his fury

¹⁰ The just cheers when he sees the avengement; he washes his steps in the blood of the wicked.

¹⁹ And Babel, the splendour of sovereigndoms, the adornment of the pomp of the Kesediym, becomes as when Elohim overthrew Sedom and Amorah

³³ For Topheth lined up since yesterday; yes, prepared for the sovereign; he deepens and enlarges: the fuel pile is fire and abounding timber; the breath of Yah Veh, as a wadi of sulphur, burns it.

⁹ And the wadies turn into asphalt and the dust into sulphur and the land becomes burning asphalt ¹⁰ - not quenched night or day; the smoke ascends eternally: from generation to generation it lies parched; no one passes through in perpetuity.

⁴⁰ As Elohim overthrew Sedom and Amorah and the nearby tabernacles - an oracle of Yah Veh thus neither man settles there, nor any son of humanity sojourns therein.

⁴⁶ At the voice of the apprehending of Babel the earth quakes; and the cry is heard among the goyim.

¹⁶ And all the hierarchs of the sea descend from their thrones and turn aside their mantles; they strip their clothes of embroidery and enrobe themselves with trembling; they sit on the earth and tremble in a blink and astonish at you: ¹⁷ and they lift a lamentation for you, and say to you, How you destruct, you settled of the seas; the renowned city - strong in the sea; she and her settlers, who give their terror on all who settle it!

⁹ And I vex the hearts of many people, when I bring your breech among the goyim, to the lands you know not. ¹⁰ Yes, many people astonish at you and their sovereigns shudder with horror when I flutter my sword at their face; and in a blink, every man trembles for his own soul in the day of your ruin.

¹⁴ he calls out with valour, and says thus: Cut the tree and chop his branches; shake its foliage and scatter its fruit: so that the live beings flee from under it and the birds from his branches:

² Howl, fir tree; for the cedar falls; because the mighty are ravaged! Howl, O you oaks of Bashan; for the forest of the crop topples! ³ A voice of howling of the tenders; for their mighty are ravaged! A voice of the roaring of whelps; for the pomp of Yarden is ravaged.

¹¹ and the smoke of their torture ascends to the eons of the eons: and they who worship the beast and his icon - also if any take the tattoo of his name they have no rest day and night.

² with whom the sovereigns of the earth whored; and who settle on the earth who intoxicate from the wine of her whoredom.

¹² And the ten horns you see are ten sovereigns, who take no sovereigndom as yet; but take authority as sovereigns with the beast one hour. ¹³ These have one opinion and distribute their own dynamis and authority to the beast.

³ Because all goyim drank of the wine of the fury of her whoredom and the sovereigns of the earth whored with her and the merchants of the earth enriched from the dynamis of her luxuries.

⁷ as much as she glorifies herself and luxuriates so much torture and mourning give her: because she words in her heart, I sit a sovereigness and am no widow and never no way see mourning.

¹⁸ and seeing the smoke of her firing, they cry, wording, What is like to this megalopolis!

²⁰ Rejoice over her, O the heavens and you holy apostles and prophets; because Elohim judges your judgment of her.

³ And secondly they say, Halalu Yah! - and her smoke ascends to the eons of the eons.
