¹ ¶ And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will sing unto thee; though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou hast comforted me. ² Behold, O God my saving health, I will trust and not be afraid for JAH, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he also is become saving health unto me. ³ Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of saving health. ⁴ ¶ And in that day ye shall say, Sing unto the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the peoples, remember how his name is exalted. ⁵ Sing psalms unto the LORD; for he has done excellent things; let this be known in all the earth. ⁶ Rejoice and sing, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

¹ ¶ And it shall come to pass when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse which I have set before thee, and thou shalt return unto thy heart among all the Gentiles, where the LORD thy God shall have driven thee, ² and shalt convert unto the LORD thy God and shalt hear his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart and with all thy soul, ³ then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity and have mercy upon thee and will return and gather thee from all the peoples where the LORD thy God has scattered thee.

⁵ For his anger endures but a moment; in his will is life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

A Psalm or Song. ¶ God be merciful unto us and bless us and cause his face to shine upon us. Selah. ² That thy way may be known upon the earth, thy saving health among all the Gentiles. ³ Let the peoples praise thee, O God; let all the peoples praise thee. ⁴ O let the Gentiles be glad and sing for joy, for thou shalt judge the people righteously and shepherd the Gentiles upon the earth. Selah.

³⁴ Let the heavens and the earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that moves in them. ³⁵ For God will protect Zion and will rebuild the cities of Judah; they shall dwell there and inherit it. ³⁶ The seed of his slaves shall inherit it, and those that love his name shall dwell therein.

¹⁵ And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba; prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily he shall be given blessings. ¹⁶ There shall be planted a handful of grain in the earth upon the tops of the mountains; its fruit shall thunder like Lebanon; and out of the city they shall blossom like the grass of the earth. ¹⁷ His name shall endure for ever; before the sun his name shall be disseminated, and all Gentiles shall be blessed in him; they shall call him blessed. ¹⁸ ¶ Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, the only one who does wondrous things ¹⁹ And blessed be his glorious name for ever, and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

A Psalm for the sons of Korah. ¶ LORD, thou hast been favourable unto thy land; thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob. ² Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people; thou hast covered all their sin. Selah. ³ Thou hast taken away all thy wrath; thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.

⁶ ¶ The high praises of God shall be in their mouth and a two-edged sword in their hand, ⁷ to execute vengeance upon the Gentiles and punishments upon the peoples, ⁸ to imprison their kings with fetters and their nobles with chains of iron, ⁹ to execute upon them the judgment written: this shall be glory for all his merciful ones. ¹¹ The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

⁴ They shall bow down among the prisoners, and they shall fall among the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

²⁵ yet from now until a very little while the indignation and my anger shall cease, to make an end of them.

¹⁰ ¶ And it shall be in that day that the Root of Jesse, who shall be lifted up as a banner, as an example to the Gentiles shall be sought by the Gentiles; and his Kingdom of peace shall be glorious. ¹¹ And it shall come to pass in that day that the Lord shall return to set his hand again to possess the remnant of his people which were left from Assyria and from Egypt and from Pathros and from Cush and from Elam and from Shinar and from Hamath and from the islands of the sea.

¹⁶ And there shall be a highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left from Assyria like as it was for Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

³ And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow and from thy fear and from the hard bondage in which thou wast made to serve,

¹ ¶ O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee; I will praise thy name for thou hast done wonders, the counsels of old, the truth unchanging.

⁹ ¶ And it shall be said in that day, Behold, this is our God, whom we have waited for, and he has saved us: this is the LORD, whom we have waited for, we will be glad and rejoice in his saving health.

¹ ¶ In that day they shall sing this song in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; God has appointed saving health for walls and bulwarks.

¹ ¶ In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall visit punishment upon leviathan the fleeing serpent, and upon leviathan that serpent of double vision; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea. ² In that day sing ye unto the vineyard of the red wine. ³ I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest the enemy visit it, I will keep it night and day.

¹² And it shall come to pass in that day that the LORD shall smite from the channel of the river Euphrates unto the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye sons of Israel. ¹³ And it shall come to pass in that day that the great shofar shall be blown, and those who were ready to perish in the land of Assyria and the outcasts in the land of Egypt shall come and worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.

¹⁰ And the ransomed of the LORD shall return and come to Zion with songs; and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads: they shall retain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

¹ ¶ Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. ² Speak ye according to the heart of Jerusalem and cry unto her that her time is now fulfilled that her iniquity is pardoned; for she has received of the LORD’s hand double for all her sins.

¹³ ¶ Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD has comforted his people and will have mercy upon his afflicted.

³ For the LORD shall surely comfort Zion; he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of singing.

⁸ In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with eternal mercy I will have compassion on thee, said the LORD thy Redeemer.

¹⁵ For thus has said the high and lofty One that inhabits eternity, whose name is The Holy One; I dwell in the high place and in holiness and with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit to cause the spirit of the humble to live and to cause the heart of the contrite ones to live. ¹⁶ For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for by me is the spirit covered by the body, and I have made the souls. ¹⁷ ¶ For the iniquity of his covetousness I was wroth and smote him: I hid my face and was wroth, and he went on rebelliously in the way of his heart. ¹⁸ I have seen his ways and will heal him: I will lead him also and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.

¹⁸ Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Saving Health and thy gates Praise. ¹⁹ The sun shall no longer be thy light by day; nor shall the moon give light unto thee for brightness; but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light and thy God thy glory.

¹³ As a man child whom his mother comforts, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

¹⁸ ¶ I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus, Thou hast afflicted me, and I was chastised as an indomitable bullock: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God. ¹⁹ Surely after I was turned, I repented; and after I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh; I was ashamed, and even confounded, because I bore the reproach of my youth. ²⁰ Peradventure is Ephraim a precious son unto me? Peradventure is he unto me a delightful child? With all this since I spoke of him, I have remembered him constantly. Therefore my bowels are troubled for him; in tenderness I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.

²⁴ According to their uncleanness and according to their rebellions have I done unto them and hid my face from them. ²⁵ Therefore thus hath the Lord GOD said: Now I will turn the captivity of Jacob and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel and will be jealous for my holy name. ²⁶ After they shall feel their shame and all their rebellion by which they have rebelled against me when they dwelt safely in their land, and no one made them afraid. ²⁷ When I bring them again from the peoples and gather them out of their enemies’ lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many Gentiles. ²⁸ And they shall know that I am the LORD their God when after causing them to be led into captivity among the Gentiles; I shall gather them unto their own land, without leaving any of them there any longer. ²⁹ Neither will I hide my face any longer from them, for I will pour out my Spirit upon the house of Israel, said the Lord GOD.

¹ ¶ Come, and let us return unto the LORD; for he has torn, and he will heal us; he has smitten, and he will bind us up.

⁸ ¶ How must I leave thee, Ephraim? how shall I give thee up, Israel? how could I make thee as Admah? nor set thee as Zeboim? my heart churns within me; all my compassion is inflamed.

⁴ ¶ I will heal their rebellion; I will love them freely; for my anger is turned away from them. ⁵ I will be as the dew unto Israel; he shall flourish as the lily and cast forth his roots as Lebanon. ⁶ His branches shall spread, and his glory shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon. ⁷ Those that shall sit under his shadow shall return; they shall be given life as the wheat, and they shall flourish as the vine; the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon. ⁸ ¶ Ephraim shall then say, What have I to do any more with idols? I will hear him and gaze upon him; I will be unto him like a green fir tree; of me shall thy fruit be found. ⁹ Who is wise that he might understand this? and prudent that he might know this? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them; but the rebellious shall fall therein.

⁹ And the LORD shall be king over all the earth; in that day the LORD shall be one, and his name one.

²⁰ In that day there shall be written upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD’s house shall be like the bowls before the altar.

¹⁵ For if the casting away of them is the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

³ And they sing the song of Moses, the slave of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. ⁴ Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and magnify thy name? for thou only art holy; therefore, all the Gentiles shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

¹ ¶ And after these things I heard a great voice of a great company in the heaven, saying, Halelu-JAH; Salvation and glory and honour and power unto the Lord our God; ² for true and righteous are his judgments; for he has judged the great whore, who corrupted the earth with her fornication, and has avenged the blood of his slaves at her hand. ³ And again they said, Halelu-JAH. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. ⁴ And the twenty-four elders and the four animals fell upon their faces and worshipped God that was seated upon the throne, saying, Amen! Halelu-JAH! ⁵ ¶ And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his slaves and ye that fear him, both small and great. ⁶ And I heard as it were the voice of a great company and as the voice of many waters and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Halelu-JAH; for the Lord God almighty reigns. ⁷ Let us be glad and rejoice and give glory to him; for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his bride has made herself ready.

² The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my saving health; he is my God, and I will prepare him a habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

¹ A Psalm of David. ¶ The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

¹⁸ That they may know that thou, whose name alone is LORD, art the most high over all the earth.

¹⁴ JAH is my strength and song and is become my saving health.

¹⁴ Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son and shall call his name Immanuel.

⁶ For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government is placed upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called The Wonderful One, The Counsellor, The God, The Mighty One, The Eternal Father, The Prince of Peace. ⁷ The multitude of his dominion and the peace shall have no end upon the throne of David and upon his Kingdom, ordering it and confirming it in judgment and in righteousness from now on even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of the hosts will perform this.

³ Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusts in thee. ⁴ Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in JAH, the LORD is the strength of the ages:

² And that man shall be as a hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a hot land.

¹⁷ Israel is saved in the LORD, eternal salvation; ye shall never be ashamed nor confounded through all ages.

²² Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no one else. ²³ I have sworn by myself; the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow; every tongue shall swear. ²⁴ And unto me he shall say, Surely in the LORD is the righteousness and the strength; until he shall come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed. ²⁵ In the LORD shall all the generation of Israel be justified and shall glory.

¹¹ Behold, the LORD has caused it to be heard unto the end of the earth; Say unto the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy Saviour comes; behold that his reward is with him, and his work before him.

²³ Truly the hills are vanity, the multitude of mountains; truly in the LORD our God is the salvation of Israel.

⁶ In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this shall be his name by which they shall call him, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

⁷ But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah and will save them in the LORD their God and will not save them by bow, by sword, by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.

⁹ But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that which I have vowed; that saving comes of the LORD.

²¹ And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins. ²² Now all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, ²³ Behold, a virgin shall conceive and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is God With Us.

³⁰ for mine eyes have seen thy saving health, ³¹ which thou hast prepared before the face of all the peoples: ³² a light to be revealed unto the Gentiles and the glory of thy people Israel.

¹⁶ ¶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel of the Christ; for it is the power of God to give saving health to every one that believes: to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

¹⁶ And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

¹⁰ and cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation unto him who is seated upon the throne of our God and unto the Lamb.

⁹ For with thee is the fountain of life; in thy light shall we see light.

³ ¶ As the apple tree among the trees of the wild, so is my beloved among the sons. I desired to sit under his shadow, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.

¹⁰ They shall never hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that has mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water he shall feed them.

¹ ¶ Ho, every one that thirsts, come ye to the waters, and he that has no money; come ye, buy, and eat; come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. ² Why do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which does not satisfy? Hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. ³ Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an eternal covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

¹³ For my people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters to hew them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

¹⁶ And of his fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.

¹⁰ Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink, thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. ¹¹ The woman said unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep; from where then hast thou that living water? ¹² Art thou greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank thereof himself, and his sons and his cattle? ¹³ Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinks of this water shall thirst again, ¹⁴ but whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst, but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a fountain of water springing up into eternal life.

³⁷ ¶ In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, If any man thirsts, let him come unto me and drink. ³⁸ He that believes in me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. ³⁹ (But this he spoke concerning the Spirit, which those that believe on him should receive, for the Holy Spirit was not yet given because Jesus was not yet glorified.)

¹⁷ For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall govern them and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters, and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

¹ ¶ And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

¹⁷ And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is thirsty come; and whosoever will, let him take of the water of life freely.

¹⁹ And he replied, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name that I AM before thee; and I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy and will show clemency on whom I will show clemency.

⁵ ¶ And the LORD descended in a cloud and was with him there proclaiming the name of I AM. ⁶ And as the LORD passed by before him, he proclaimed, I AM, I AM strong, merciful, and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in mercy and truth, ⁷ keeping mercy for thousands, letting go of iniquity and rebellion and sin; and by no means will I absolve the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons and upon the sons’ sons, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

⁸ Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.

¹¹ Thine, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the honour, for all things in the heavens and in the earth are thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.

⁵ Then the Levites, Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabniah, Sherebiah, Hodijah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah said, Stand up and bless the LORD your God for ever and ever; and blessed be thy glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise.

¹¹ ¶ Sing unto the LORD, he who dwells in Zion; declare among the people his doings.

⁴⁶ The LORD lives; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.

¹³ Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy valour.

³¹ They shall come and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he has done this.

³ Gimel O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

⁵ Thou hast increased, O LORD my God, thy wonderful works which thou hast done and thy thoughts regarding us; they are beyond our ability to express, declare, or speak; they cannot be told.

¹⁰ Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted in the Gentiles, I will be exalted in the earth.

⁵ Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.

¹⁶ I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD; I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only. ¹⁷ O God, thou hast taught me from my youth and until now; I shall manifest thy wondrous works. ¹⁸ Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not until I have showed the strength of thy arm unto the next generation and thy power to every one that is to come,

²⁸ But as for me, to draw near to God is good; I have put my hope in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.

³ Declare his glory among the Gentiles, his wonders among all peoples.

⁹ For thou, O LORD, art high above all the earth; thou art exalted far above all gods.

¹ ¶ O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples.

⁴⁷ Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the Gentiles, that we might lift up thy holy name, that we might glory in thy praise. ⁴⁸ Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting; and let all the people say, Amen. Halelu-JAH.

²² And let them offer the sacrifices of praise and publish his works with singing.

¹ ¶ Halelu-JAH. Praise, O ye slaves of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD. ² Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. ³ From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the LORD’s name is to be praised.

⁵ Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwells on high,

¹ ¶ O praise the LORD, all ye Gentiles; praise him, all ye peoples. ² For he has greatly increased his mercy upon us; and the truth of the LORD endures for ever. Halelu-JAH.

⁴ Daleth One generation shall praise thy works to another and shall declare thy mighty acts. ⁵ He I will speak of the beauty of the glory of thy majesty and of thy wondrous works. ⁶ Vau And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts, and I will declare thy greatness.

¹⁷ And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low; and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

¹ ¶ And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will sing unto thee; though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou hast comforted me.

¹⁵ Therefore glorify ye the LORD in the valleys; let the LORD God of Israel be called upon by name in the isles of the sea.

⁵ The LORD shall be exalted; he who dwells on the heights: for he has filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.

¹⁹ And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the Gentiles, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have never heard my name, nor seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

² Declare ye among the Gentiles, and publish, and set up a banner; publish, and do not conceal: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces.

⁹ We applied the medicine to Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go each one into his own land; for her judgment is come unto heaven and is lifted up even to the clouds. ¹⁰ The LORD has brought our righteousness to light; come, and let us declare in Zion the work of the LORD our God.

²⁶ And I have manifested unto them thy name and will manifest it still, that the love with which thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

⁹ Therefore, God also has highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name, ¹⁰ that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things in earth and things under the earth, ¹¹ and that every tongue should confess that the Lord Jesus Christ is Lord in the glory of God the Father.

¹ ¶ Then Moses and the sons of Israel sang this song unto the LORD and spoke, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.

²¹ And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.

³² ¶ Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord Selah: ³³ To him that rides upon the heavens of the heavens which were of old; behold, he shall send forth his voice, his mighty voice. ³⁴ Ascribe ye strength unto God; his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds. ³⁵ O God, thou art terrible out of thy sanctuaries; the God of Israel is he that gives strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.

¹⁹ And blessed be his glorious name for ever, and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

¹ A Psalm. ¶ O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he has done marvellous things; his right hand has gotten him the victory, even the arm of his holiness.

² Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him; speak of all his wondrous works.

⁹ ¶ O Zion, that brings good tidings, go up into the high mountain; lift up thy voice with strength O bearer of good tidings of Jerusalem; lift it up, do not be afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!

¹⁴ For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.

¹⁵ And the seventh angel sounded the trumpet, and there were great voices in the heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are reduced unto our Lord and to his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. ¹⁶ And the twenty-four elders, who sat before God on their thrones, fell upon their faces and worshipped God, ¹⁷ saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, who art and wast, and art to come because thou hast taken to thee thy great power and hast reigned.

³ And they sing the song of Moses, the slave of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

¹ ¶ And after these things I heard a great voice of a great company in the heaven, saying, Halelu-JAH; Salvation and glory and honour and power unto the Lord our God; ² for true and righteous are his judgments; for he has judged the great whore, who corrupted the earth with her fornication, and has avenged the blood of his slaves at her hand. ³ And again they said, Halelu-JAH. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.

¹⁶ Why leap ye, ye high mountains? This is the mountain which God desires to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever.

²² I will also praise thee with an instrument of the psaltery, O my God; unto thee will I sing thy truth with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.

¹⁸ For the LORD is our shield, and the Holy One of Israel is our king.

¹⁴ This shall be my rest for ever; here I will dwell; for I have desired her.

¹⁸ Behold, I and the children whom the LORD has given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of the hosts, who dwells in Mount Zion.

²⁴ ¶ Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of the hosts, O my people, dweller of Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian; he shall smite thee with a rod and shall lift up his stick against thee by the way of Egypt;

²³ Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of the hosts shall reign in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and in the presence of his ancients he shall be glorious.

¹⁹ For the people shall dwell in Zion, in Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he who has mercy shall show mercy unto thee; at the voice of thy cry when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.

²⁴ And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be absolved from sin.

¹⁴ Fear not, thou worm Jacob, ye dead of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD and thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

¹⁶ Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them; but thou shalt rejoice in the LORD, thou shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.

²⁶ And I will feed those that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

⁷ ¶ How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace, that brings good tidings of good, that publishes saving health, that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigns! ⁸ The voice of thy watchmen! They shall lift up the voice; together they shall rejoice: for they shall see eye to eye, how the LORD shall return to bring again Zion. ⁹ Sing praises, rejoice together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD has comforted his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem. ¹⁰ The LORD has made bare the arm of his holiness before the eyes of all the Gentiles; and all the ends of the earth shall see the saving health of our God.

¹ ¶ Rejoice, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud with joy, thou that didst not travail with child: for more shall be the sons of the desolate than the sons of the married wife, said the LORD.

⁷ ¶ And he said unto me, Son of man, this is the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, in which I will dwell in the midst of the sons of Israel for ever, and my holy name, the house of Israel shall no longer defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcasses of their kings in their altars.

³⁵ It was round about eighteen thousand reeds: and the name of the city from that day shall be, THE LORD IS HERE.

⁵ Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the people of the Cherethites! the word of the LORD is against you; O Canaan, the land of the Palestinians, I will cause thee to be destroyed until there shall be no inhabitant left.

¹⁴ ¶ Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout with joy O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all thy heart, O daughter of Jerusalem. ¹⁵ The LORD has taken away thy judgments; he has cast out thine enemy; the LORD is king of Israel in the midst of thee; thou shalt not see evil any more. ¹⁶ In that time it shall be said to Jerusalem, Do not fear; and to Zion, Do not let thine hands be slack. ¹⁷ The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save; he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love; he will joy over thee with singing.

⁵ For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about and will be the glory in the midst of her.

¹⁰ ¶ Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion, for, behold, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, said the LORD. ¹¹ And many Gentiles shall join themselves unto the LORD in that day and shall be my people, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and then thou shalt know that the LORD of the hosts has sent me unto thee.

³ Thus hath the LORD said, I will restore Zion and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and Jerusalem shall be called City of truth and the mountain of the LORD of the hosts, the mountain of holiness. ⁴ Thus hath the LORD of the hosts said; Old men and old women shall yet dwell there in the streets of Jerusalem, and each one with his staff in his hand for the multitude of the days. ⁵ And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls who shall play in them. ⁶ Thus saith the LORD of the hosts, If this should appear difficult in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be difficult in my eyes? saith the LORD of the hosts. ⁷ Thus hath the LORD of the hosts said; Behold, I will save my people of the land of the east and of the land where the sun sets; ⁸ and I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.

³⁷ And when he was come near, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen, ³⁸ saying, Blessed be the King that comes in the name of the Lord; peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. ³⁹ And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. ⁴⁰ And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that if these should be silent, the stones would immediately cry out.
