⁵ And now, saith the LORD, he that formed me from the womb to be his slave, so that Jacob might be converted unto him. But if Israel will not be gathered, even so, yet I shall be esteemed in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.

¹ A Psalm of David. ¶ The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand until I make thine enemies thy footstool. ² The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion; rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. ³ Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauty of holiness; as the dew which falls from the womb of the morning, thus shall those who are thine be born unto thee.

¹² And he shall raise up a banner, as an example for the Gentiles and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

² Behold, O God my saving health, I will trust and not be afraid for JAH, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he also is become saving health unto me.

⁴ Because thou wast precious in my sight, thou wast worthy of honour, and I have loved thee.

¹ ¶ Listen, O isles, unto me, and hearken, ye peoples, from far, The LORD has called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother he has remembered my name.

⁴ ¶ The Lord GOD has given me the tongue of the wise that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary; he wakes up early, early shall he awaken my ear, that I might hear, as the wise.

¹³ ¶ Behold, my slave shall be prospered; he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high.

⁸ The Lord GOD who gathers the outcasts of Israel says, I will still gather upon him his gathered ones.

¹⁷ and, behold, a voice from the heavens, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

²⁷ All things are delivered unto me of my Father, and no one has known the Son but the Father, neither has anyone known the Father except the Son and he unto whom the Son will reveal him.

²⁴ But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

⁵ While he yet spoke, behold, a cloud of light overshadowed them, and, behold, a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

³⁷ But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son. ³⁸ But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us take his inheritance. ³⁹ And they took hold of him and cast him out of the vineyard and slew him. ⁴⁰ Therefore, when the lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do unto those husbandmen? ⁴¹ They say unto him, He will destroy those wicked men without mercy and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen who shall render him the fruits in their seasons.

³⁷ O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that didst kill the prophets and stone those who are sent unto thee, how often I desired to gather thy children together, even as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

¹⁸ And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

⁴² saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

³⁵ The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand.

²⁰ For the Father loves the Son and shows him all the things that he does, and he will show him greater works than these that ye may marvel. ²¹ For as the Father raises up the dead and gives them life; even so the Son gives life unto whom he will. ²² For the Father judges no man but has committed all judgment unto the Son ²³ that everyone should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that does not honour the Son does not honour the Father who has sent him. ²⁴ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word and believes him that sent me has eternal life and shall not come into judgment but has passed from death unto life. ²⁵ Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour shall come, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that hear shall live. ²⁶ For as the Father has life in himself, so has he given to the Son to have life in himself ²⁷ and has also given him power and authority to execute judgment because he is the Son of man.

³⁶ The word which God sent unto the sons of Israel, preaching the gospel: peace by Jesus Christ (he is Lord of all),

⁸ Now I say that Christ Jesus, was a minister of the circumcision, by the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers;

²⁰ which operated in the Christ, raising him from the dead and setting him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, ²¹ far above all principality and power and might and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come, ²² And has put all things under his feet and gave him to be the head over all things to the congregation {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones},

¹⁵ who killed both the Lord Jesus and their own prophets and have persecuted us, and they do not please God and are contrary to all men, ¹⁶ forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up the measure of their sins always, for the wrath of God has come upon them to the uttermost.

²² who is at the right hand of God, having ascended into heaven, unto whom the angels and the authorities and powers are subject.
