² As you know it, I know it; I am not inferior unto you.

³ But I have a heart as well as you; I am not inferior to you; and who shall not be able to say as much again?

⁸ Hast thou heard the secret of God, that thou dost detain wisdom in thee alone? ⁹ What dost thou know that we do not? What dost thou understand, which is not in us?

³⁵ Job has spoken without knowledge, and his words were without prudence.

¹⁶ therefore, Job opened his mouth in vain and multiplied words without knowledge.

² Hear attentively his terrible voice and the word that goes out of his mouth.

⁴ Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay my hand over my mouth. ⁵ Once I have spoken; but I will not answer; even twice, but I will proceed no further.

⁷ ¶ And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz, the Temanite, My wrath has been kindled against thee, and against thy two friends; for ye have not spoken by me in uprightness, as my slave Job has.

¹ ¶ Now as concerning things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but charity edifies. ² And if anyone thinks that they know anything, they know nothing yet as they ought to know.

⁴ Therefore if anyone comes preaching another Jesus whom we have not preached or if ye receive another spirit from that which ye have received or another gospel from that which ye have accepted, ye bear well with it. ⁵ ¶ I reckon that I have not been inferior in any way to those grandiose apostles.

¹⁶ ¶ I say again, Let no one think me a fool if otherwise, receive me as a fool, that I may yet glory a little. ¹⁷ That which I speak, I speak it not according to the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of glory. ¹⁸ Seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory also.

¹¹ ¶ I have been a fool, glorying; ye have compelled me; for I ought to have been commended of you, for in nothing am I behind the grandiose apostles, though I am nothing.
