²¹ For what delight shall he have in his house after him, being cut off in the number of his months?

⁵ Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with thee, thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass.

¹⁸ Yea, I hated all my labour which I had taken under the sun, which I should leave it unto the man that shall be after me. ¹⁹ And who knows whether he shall be a wise man or a fool, he who shall have rule over all my labour in which I have laboured and in which I have showed myself wise under the sun? ²⁷ Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou would send him to my father’s house, ²⁸ for I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
