26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter that the outside of them may be clean also.
27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whitewashed sepulchres, who indeed appear beautiful outside, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and of all uncleanness.

1 To the Overcomer upon
Shoshannim (lilies), A Psalm of David. ¶ Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul. 2 I sink in deep mire where there is no standing; I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me. 3 I am weary of my crying; my throat is dried; my eyes fail while I wait for my God. 4 Those that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head; those that would destroy me, being my enemies wrongfully, are mighty; then I restored that which I did not take away. 5 O God, thou knowest my foolishness, and my guiltiness is not hid from thee. 6 Do not let those that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of the hosts, be ashamed for my sake; do not let those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel. 7 Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame has covered my face. 8 I am become a stranger unto my brethren and an alien unto my mother’s sons. 9 For the zeal of thy house has consumed me, and the reproaches of those that reproached thee are fallen upon me. 10 When I wept with fasting of my soul, thou hast been a reproach unto me. 11 I made sackcloth also my garment, and I became a proverb to them. 12 They that sat in the gate spoke against me, and I was the song of the drunkards. 13 ¶ But I corrected my prayer unto thee, O LORD, in the time of thy good pleasure; O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy saving health. 14 Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not drown; let me be delivered from those that hate me and out of the deep waters. 15 Let not the violent force of the waters overcome me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me. 16 Hear me, O LORD, for thy mercy is perceptible, look upon me according to the multitude of thy acts of compassion 17 And hide not thy face from thy slave, for I am in trouble; hear me speedily. 18 Draw near unto my soul and redeem it; deliver me because of my enemies. 19 Thou hast known my reproach and my shame and my dishonour; my adversaries are all before thee. 20 Reproach has broken my heart, and I am full of heaviness, and I looked for some to take pity, but there was no one, and for comforters, but I found none. 21 They also gave me gall for my food; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

Isaiah 53:4-5
Isaiah 53:10
10 ¶ With all this the LORD chose to bruise him; subjecting him to grief. When he shall have offered his soul for atonement, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the will of the LORD shall be prospered in his hand.
Matthew 26:1-27
1 ¶ And it came to pass when Jesus had finished all these words, he said unto his disciples,
2 Ye know that after two days is the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.
3 Then the princes of the priests and the scribes and the elders of the people assembled together in the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,
4 and took counsel that they might take Jesus by guile and kill him.
5 But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people.
6 ¶ Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper,
7 a woman came unto him having an alabaster box of very precious ointment and poured it on his head as he sat at the table.
8 But when his disciples saw it, they became indignant, saying, To what purpose is this waste?
9 For this ointment might have been sold for much and given to the poor.
10 But Jesus, understanding this, said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she has wrought a good work upon me.
11 For ye have the poor always with you, but me ye have not always.
12 For in that she has poured this ointment on my body, she did it to prepare for my burial.
13 Verily I say unto you, Wherever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman has done, be told for a memorial of her.
14 ¶ Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the princes of the priests
15 and said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.
16 And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.
17 ¶ Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread, the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?
18 And he said, Go into the city to a certain man and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.
19 And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them, and they made ready the passover.
20 Now when the evening was come, he sat down at the table with the twelve.
21 And as they ate, he said, Verily I say unto you that one of you shall betray me.
22 And they were exceeding sorrowful and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I?
23 And he answered and said, He that dips his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me.
24 The Son of man goes as it is written of him, but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! It had been good for that man if he had not been born.
25 Then Judas, who was betraying him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.
26 ¶ And as they were eating, Jesus took the bread, and, having blessed it, broke it and gave it to the disciples and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
27 And taking the cup and having given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
1 John 2:27
27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abides in you, and ye do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you of all things and is truth, and is no lie; and even as it has taught you, abide ye in him.

10 And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen underwear shall he put upon his flesh, and when the fire has consumed the burnt offering, he shall take up the ashes with the burnt fat on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.
11 Then he shall put off his garments and put on other garments and carry forth the ashes with the burnt fat outside the camp unto a clean place.

27 And he shall take outside the camp the bullock of the sin and the goat of the sin, whose blood was brought in to make the reconciliation in the sanctuary; and they shall burn in the fire their skins and their flesh and their dung.
Hebrews 13:11-14
11 For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned outside the camp.
12 Therefore, Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered outside the gate.
13 Let us go forth, therefore, unto him outside the camp, bearing his reproach.
14 For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one that is coming.

10 And he took unto him all these and divided them in the midst and laid each piece one against another, but he did not divide the birds.

25 who was delivered for our offenses and was raised again for our justification.
Hebrews 10:6-12
6 in burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7 ¶ Then said I, Behold, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me) to do thy will, O God.
8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou dost not desire, neither hadst pleasure therein, which are offered by the law;
9 then he said, Behold, I come to do thy will, O God. He took away the first, that he may establish the second.
10 In this will, we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus, the Christ, once for all.
11 And so every priest stands daily ministering and offering many times the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins,
12 but this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, is seated at the right hand of God,
Hebrews 13:15-16
1 Peter 1:19-21
19 but with the precious blood of the Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without contamination,

1 Peter 3:18
18 ¶ For the Christ also has once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in spirit,
