¹⁹ Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

²⁶ ¶ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over the beasts and over all the earth and over every serpent that moves upon the earth.

²⁴ The LORD bless thee and keep thee; ²⁵ the LORD make his face shine upon thee and have mercy on thee; ²⁶ the LORD lift up his face upon thee, and place peace in thee. ²⁷ And they shall place my name upon the sons of Israel, and I will bless them.

²⁷ All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn unto the LORD; and all the families of the Gentiles shall worship before thee. ²⁸ For the kingdom is the LORD’s, and he shall have dominion over the Gentiles.

² The LORD has made known his saving health; he has openly showed his righteousness in the sight of the Gentiles. ³ He has remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the saving health of our God.

¹ ¶ Behold my slave, whom I uphold; my elect, in whom my soul delights; I have put my Spirit upon him; he shall give judgment unto the Gentiles. ² He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the streets. ³ He shall not break a bruised reed, nor shall he quench the smoking flax; he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. ⁴ He shall not tire nor faint until he has set judgment in the earth; and the isles shall wait for his law.

¹⁶ ¶ Come near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was done, I was there: and now the LORD God has sent me and his Spirit.

⁶ And he said, It is a light thing that thou should be my slave to wake up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the desolations of Israel; I have also given thee for a light to the Gentiles that thou may be my saving health unto the end of the earth.

¹⁰ The LORD has made bare the arm of his holiness before the eyes of all the Gentiles; and all the ends of the earth shall see the saving health of our God.

¹⁸ For I understand their works and their thoughts. The time shall come to gather all the Gentiles and tongues; and they shall come and see my glory. ¹⁹ And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the Gentiles, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have never heard my name, nor seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

¹⁶ And Jesus, after he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water; and, behold, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting upon him; ¹⁷ and, behold, a voice from the heavens, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

⁵² And he said unto them, Therefore every scribe who is instructed in the kingdom of the heavens is like unto a man, a husband of a house, who brings forth out of his treasure things new and old.

¹⁵ And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. ¹⁶ He that believes and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believes not shall be condemned.

⁴⁷ and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. ⁴⁸ And ye are witnesses of these things.

⁸ But ye shall receive the virtue of the Holy Spirit which shall come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in all Judaea and in Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

³⁸ Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized each one of you into the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. ³⁹ For the promise is unto you and to your children and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

⁴¹ So that those who gladly received his word were baptized, and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. ³⁸ And he commanded the chariot to stand still, and they went both down into the water, both Philip and the eunuch, and he baptized him.

¹⁸ And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales; and he received sight immediately and arose and was baptized.

⁴⁷ Can anyone forbid water that these should not be baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit as well as we? ⁴⁸ And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they begged him to tarry certain days.

⁴⁶ Then Paul and Barnabas speaking with freedom, said, It was necessary indeed that the word of God should first have been spoken to you; but seeing ye put it from you and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles. ⁴⁷ For so has the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles that thou should be for saving health unto the ends of the earth.

²¹ And when they had preached the gospel to that city and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra and to Iconium and Antioch,

¹⁵ And when she was baptized, with her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house and abide there. And she constrained us. ¹⁶ ¶ And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a Pythian spirit met us, which brought her masters much gain by divination: ¹⁷ she followed Paul and us and cried out, saying, These men are the slaves of the most high God, who announce unto us the way of deliverance. ¹⁸ And she did this for many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour. ¹⁹ And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers ²⁰ and brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city ²¹ and teach rites which are not lawful for us to receive neither to observe, being Romans. ²² And the multitude rose up together against them, and the magistrates rent off their clothes and commanded to beat them. ²³ And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely, ²⁴ who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison and made their feet fast in the stocks. ²⁵ ¶ But at midnight as Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God, and the prisoners heard them, ²⁶ then suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed. ²⁷ And the keeper of the prison, awaking out of his sleep and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had fled. ²⁸ But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm, for we are all here. ²⁹ Then he called for a light and came inside and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas ³⁰ and brought them out and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? ³¹ And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. ³² And they spoke unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. ³³ And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.

³ And he said unto them, Into what then were ye baptized? And they said, Into John’s baptism. ⁴ Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people that they should believe on him who should come after him, that is, on Christ, Jesus. ⁵ When they heard this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.

²⁸ Be it known, therefore, unto you that this saving health of God is sent unto the Gentiles and that they will hear it.

³ Know ye not that all of us that are baptized into Jesus the Christ are baptized into his death? ⁴ For we are buried with him by baptism into death, that just as the Christ was raised up from the dead to the glory of the Father, likewise we also walk in newness of life.

¹⁸ But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their fame went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

¹³ Is the Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized into the name of Paul? ¹⁴ ¶ I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius, ¹⁵ lest any should say that ye were baptized into my name. ¹⁶ And I baptized also the household of Stephanas; besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.

⁴ Now there is dispersal of gifts, but the same Spirit. ⁵ And there is dispersal of ministries, but the same Lord. ⁶ And there is dispersal of operations, but it is the same God who works all in each one.

²⁹ Else what shall they do who are baptized for the dead, if the dead do not rise at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?

¹⁴ The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the charity of God and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

²⁷ For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

¹⁸ For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

²³ if ye continue in the faith grounded and settled and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard and which is preached to every creature which is under heaven, of which I Paul am made a minister,

²¹ ¶ Unto the figure of which the baptism that does now correspond saves us (not taking away the uncleanness of the flesh, but giving testimony of a good conscience before God) by the resurrection of Jesus, the Christ,

⁷ For there are three that bear witness in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

⁴ John, to the seven congregations {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} which are in Asia: Grace be unto you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne ⁵ and from Jesus, the Christ, who is the faithful witness and the first begotten of the dead and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us and washed us from our sins with his own blood ⁶ and has made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
