¹⁹ He will turn again, he will have mercy on us; he will subdue our iniquities; and will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.

³ then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity and have mercy upon thee and will return and gather thee from all the peoples where the LORD thy God has scattered thee.

⁶ And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart and with all thy soul, that thou may live.

³⁶ For the LORD shall judge his people and repent himself for his slaves when he sees that their power is gone, and there is none shut up or left.

⁸ And now as for a brief moment there has been the mercy of the LORD our God, to leave us an escape, and that we may be given a stake in his holy sanctuary that our God may illuminate our eyes and give us a little preservation of life in our bondage. ⁹ For we were slaves; yet our God did not forsake us in our bondage, but has extended mercy over us before the king of Persia, that we may be given life to lift up the house of our God and to cause the desolations thereof to be restored and to give us a wall of protection in Judah and in Jerusalem.

¹³ Return unto us, O LORD, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy slaves. ¹⁴ O satisfy us early with thy mercy, and we shall sing and be glad all our days.

¹² As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our rebellions from us.

⁸ And he shall ransom Israel from all his sins.

¹⁷ Behold, for peace I had great bitterness; but it has pleased thee to deliver my life from the pit of corruption, for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.

²⁵ I, even I, am he that uproots thy rebellions for mine own sake and will not remember thy sins.

¹⁵ ¶ Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory; where is thy zeal and thy strength, the feeling of thy bowels and of thy mercies toward me? are they restrained? ¹⁶ Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel not acknowledge us; thou, O LORD, art our father; our everlasting Redeemer is thy name. ¹⁷ O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways? Hast thou hardened our heart to thy fear? Return for thy slaves, for the tribes of thine inheritance.

²⁰ Peradventure is Ephraim a precious son unto me? Peradventure is he unto me a delightful child? With all this since I spoke of him, I have remembered him constantly. Therefore my bowels are troubled for him; in tenderness I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.

³⁴ And they shall no longer teach every man his neighbour and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD, for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, said the LORD, for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

²⁰ In those days, and in that time, said the LORD, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found: for I will pardon those whom I shall have left.

³² Caph But though he causes grief, yet he will also have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.

¹⁹ And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh and will give them a heart of flesh: ²⁰ that they may walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and fulfil them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

²⁵ ¶ And I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be cleansed from all your filthiness, and from all your idols I will cleanse you. ²⁶ And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. ²⁷ And I will put my Spirit within you and cause you to walk in my commandments, and ye shall keep my rights, and do them.

²⁴ Seventy weeks are determined {Heb. Cut} upon thy people and upon thy holy city to finish the prevarication and to conclude the sin and to make reconciliation for iniquity and to bring in everlasting righteousness and seal the vision and the prophecy, and to anoint the Holy of Holies.

⁴ ¶ I will heal their rebellion; I will love them freely; for my anger is turned away from them.

¹⁴ So that sin shall have no dominion over you; for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

¹⁷ Thank God that, although ye were the slaves of sin, ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine unto which ye are delivered; ¹⁸ and freed from sin, ye are become the slaves of righteousness. ¹⁹ I speak a human thing because of the weakness of our flesh: that as ye presented your members to serve uncleanness and iniquity unto iniquity, likewise now present your members to serve righteousness unto holiness. ²⁰ For being previously the slaves of sin, now ye have been made the slaves of righteousness. ²¹ What fruit had ye then in those things of which ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. ²² But now freed from sin and made slaves to God, ye have as your fruit sanctification and as the end, everlasting life.

²³ but I see another law in my members which rebels against the law of my mind, bringing captive unto the law of sin which is in my members. ²⁴ O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? ²⁵ The grace of God, by Jesus, the Christ, our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.

² For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ, Jesus, has made me free from the law of sin and death. ³ For that which was impossible to the law, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh

¹³ For if ye live according to the flesh, ye shall die; but if through the Spirit ye mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

¹⁴ who gave himself for us that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify unto himself a people of his own, zealous of good works.

⁵ Do ye think that the scripture says in vain, The spirit that dwells in us lusts to envy? ⁶ But he gives greater grace. Therefore he says, God resists the proud, but gives grace unto the humble.

⁸ He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God appeared, that he might undo the works of the devil.
