⁴⁰ Then the two choirs stood in the house of God, and I and half of the rulers with me;

³¹ Then I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall and appointed two great choirs which went in procession, one went on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung gate. ³² And after them went Hoshaiah and half of the princes of Judah,

⁴ I will remember these things; I will pour out my soul in me. When I shall be included in the number; I will go with them to the house of God with voice of joy and praise, dancing in the multitude.

⁶ Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises unto our King, sing praises. ⁷ For God is the King of all the earth; sing ye praises with understanding. ⁸ God reigns over the Gentiles; God sits upon the throne of his holiness. ⁹ The princes of the peoples have joined the people of the God of Abraham; for the shields of the earth belong unto God; he is greatly exalted.
