¹⁹ And the LORD saw [it], and abhorred [them], Because of the provocation of his sons and his daughters.

¹¹ And I will set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.

¹⁴ And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he delivered them into the hands of spoilers that spoiled them, and he sold them into the hands of their enemies round about, so that they could not any longer stand before their enemies.

⁴ For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: evil shall not sojourn with thee.

³ For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and the covetous renounceth, [yea], contemneth the LORD.

⁵⁹ When God heard [this], he was wroth, and greatly abhorred Israel:

⁶ I said, Ye are gods, and all of you sons of the Most High. ⁷ Nevertheless ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

⁴⁰ Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, and he abhorred his inheritance.

² Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth, for the LORD hath spoken: I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.

¹⁵ What hath my beloved to do in mine house, seeing she hath wrought lewdness [with] many, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest.

²¹ The incense that ye burned in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, ye and your fathers, your kings and your princes, and the people of the land, did not the LORD remember them, and came it not into his mind? ²² so the LORD could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings, and because of the abominations which ye have committed; therefore is your land become a desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse, without inhabitant, as it is this day. ²³ Because ye have burned incense, and because ye have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD, nor walked in his law, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies; therefore this evil is happened unto you, as it is this day.

⁶ And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden; he hath destroyed his place of assembly: the LORD hath caused solemn assembly and sabbath to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest.

² You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will visit upon you all your iniquities. ³ Shall two walk together, except they have agreed?

⁸ And I cut off the three shepherds in one month; for my soul was weary of them, and their soul also loathed me.

¹⁶ So because thou art lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spew thee out of my mouth.
