⁸ He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night.

¹⁸ He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.

²¹ The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth; and it sweepeth him out of his place. ²² For [God] shall hurl at him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand. ²³ Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.

²⁰ As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.

⁵ Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.

⁷ And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even all that fight against her and her strong hold, and that distress her, shall be as a dream, a vision of the night. ⁸ And it shall be as when an hungry man dreameth, and, behold, he eateth; but he awaketh, and his soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreameth, and, behold, he drinketh; but he awaketh, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul hath appetite: so shall the multitude of all the nations be, that fight against mount Zion.
