² Hearken ye unto the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth.

¹⁶ And it came to pass on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of a trumpet exceeding loud; and all the people that were in the camp trembled. ¹⁷ And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount. ¹⁸ And mount Sinai was altogether on smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. ¹⁹ And when the voice of the trumpet waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.

²⁹ Yea, can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, the thunderings of his pavilion?

³³ The noise thereof telleth concerning him, the cattle also concerning [the storm] that cometh up.

⁵ God thundereth marvelously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.

¹ Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

³ The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth, even the LORD upon many waters. ⁴ The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. ⁵ The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh in pieces the cedars of Lebanon. ⁶ He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild-ox. ⁷ The voice of the LORD cleaveth the flames of fire. ⁸ The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh. ⁹ The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and strippeth the forests bare: and in his temple every thing saith, Glory.
