¹⁴ So shalt thou know wisdom to be unto thy soul: if thou hast found it, then shall there be a reward, and thy hope shall not be cut off.

¹⁰ More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. ¹¹ Moreover by them is thy servant warned: in keeping of them there is great reward.

¹⁰³ How sweet are thy words unto my taste! [yea, sweeter] than honey to my mouth!

¹¹¹ Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever; for they are the rejoicing of my heart.

¹ My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and lay up my commandments with thee; ² So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; ³ Yea, if thou cry after discernment, and lift up thy voice for understanding; ⁴ If thou seek her as silver, and search for her as for hid treasures; ⁵ Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

¹⁰ For wisdom shall enter into thine heart, and knowledge shall be pleasant unto thy soul;

¹³ Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. ¹⁴ For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. ¹⁵ She is more precious than rubies: and none of the things thou canst desire are to be compared unto her. ¹⁶ Length of days is in her right had; in her left hand are riches and honour. ¹⁷ Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. ¹⁸ She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.

¹⁸ For it is a pleasant thing if thou keep them within thee, if they be established together upon thy lips.

¹⁸ For surely there is a reward; and thy hope shall not be cut off.

¹⁶ Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy words were unto me a joy and the rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.

²¹ Jesus said unto him, If thou wouldest be perfect, go, sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

²⁵ But he that looketh into the perfect law, the [law] of liberty, and [so] continueth, being not a hearer that forgetteth, but a doer that worketh, this man shall be blessed in his doing.
