¹³¹ I opened wide my mouth, and panted; for I longed for thy commandments.

²³ And they waited for me as for the rain; and they opened their mouth wide as for the latter rain.

¹ For the Chief Musician; Maschil of the sons of Korah. As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.

¹⁰ I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

²⁰ My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times.

⁴⁰ Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.

⁸ Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee; to thy name and to thy memorial is the desire of our soul. ⁹ With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.
