¹⁰ All the paths of the LORD are lovingkindness and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

²⁴ and Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

¹ And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

²⁷ And he said, Blessed be the LORD, the God of my master Abraham, who hath not forsaken his mercy and his truth toward my master: as for me, the LORD hath led me in the way to the house of my master’s brethren.

¹⁵ And he blessed Joseph, and said, The God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which hath fed me all my life long unto this day, ¹⁶ the angel which hath redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.

²⁰ Whereas thou camest but yesterday, should I this day make thee go up and down with us, seeing I go whither I may? return thou, and take back thy brethren; mercy and truth be with thee.

²⁵ With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with the perfect man thou wilt shew thyself perfect; ²⁶ With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the perverse thou wilt shew thyself froward.

⁴ He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, and hath not sworn deceitfully. ⁵ He shall receive a blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

⁴ Give them according to their work, and according to the wickedness of their doings: give them after the operation of their hands; render to them their desert. ⁵ Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he shall break them down and not build them up. ⁶ Blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.

⁴ For the word of the LORD is right; and all his work is [done] in faithfulness.

²³ A man’s goings are established of the LORD; and he delighteth in his way. ²⁴ Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.

¹¹ Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.

²³ Whoso offereth the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifieth me; and to him that ordereth his conversation [aright] will I shew the salvation of God.

³ He shall send from heaven, and save me, [when] he that would swallow me up reproacheth; Selah God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.

¹⁰ Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

¹⁴ Righteousness and judgment are the foundation of thy throne: mercy and truth go before thy face.

¹⁴ Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

³ He hath remembered his mercy and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

¹⁷ But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children; ¹⁸ To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his precepts to do them.

⁷⁵ I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are righteous, and that in faithfulness thou hast afflicted me. ⁷⁶ Let, I pray thee, thy lovingkindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.

⁷ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me; thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

¹ O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things, [even] counsels of old, in faithfulness [and] truth.

² When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

¹ Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do righteousness: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed. ² Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that holdeth fast by it; that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil. ³ Neither let the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD will surely separate me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree. ⁴ For thus saith the LORD of the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and hold fast by my covenant: ⁵ Unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a memorial and a name better than of sons and of daughters; I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off. ⁶ Also the strangers, that join themselves to the LORD, to minister unto him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and holdeth fast by my covenant;

⁹ Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them; but transgressors shall fall therein.

³ Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.

¹⁴ And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.

¹⁷ For the law was given by Moses; grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

³⁵ but in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is acceptable to him.

¹³ for not the hearers of a law are just before God, but the doers of a law shall be justified:

²⁸ And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, [even] to them that are called according to [his] purpose.

⁸ For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, That I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah; ⁹ Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers In the day that I took them by the hand to lead them forth out of the land of Egypt; For they continued not in my covenant, And I regarded them not, saith the Lord. ¹⁰ For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel After those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, And on their heart also will I write them: And I will be to them a God, And they shall be to me a people: ¹¹ And they shall not teach every man his fellow-citizen, And every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: For all shall know me, From the least to the greatest of them. ¹² For I will be merciful to their iniquities, And their sins will I remember no more.

¹⁴ Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord:

¹¹ Behold, we call them blessed which endured: ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord, how that the Lord is full of pity, and merciful.
