¹⁰ And she went and declared to them who were with her, who mourned and wept.

¹⁵ Jeshu said to them, Neither can the sons of the marriage-chamber fast while the bridegroom is with them: but the days are coming when the bridegroom shall be taken up from them, and then shall they fast.

³⁰ And then shall be seen the standard of the Son of man in heaven, and then all the generations of the earth [Or, tribes of the land.] shall wail, and they shall see the Son of man coming upon the clouds of heaven, with great power and glory.

¹⁷ And he said to them, What are these words that you speak with each other, as you walk and are sad?

⁶ For I have told you these, and sorrow hath come and filled your hearts.

²⁰ Amen, amen, I tell you, That you will weep and lament, and the world will rejoice; and to you shall be sorrow; but your sorrow shall become joy. ²¹ A woman, when she travaileth, hath sorrow, that the day hath come for her giving birth; but when she hath borne a son, she remembereth not her anguish, for joy that a child of man hath been born into the world. ²² You also now have sorrow; but again I will see you, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

¹⁸ Then went Mariam Magdalitha, and announced to the disciples that she had seen our Lord, and (that) these (words) he had spoken to her.
