¹⁵ BUT when it was eventide, his disciples approached him, and said to him, The place is desert, and the time passed over; send away these multitudes of men, that they may go to the villages, and buy for themselves food.

²³ But he did not return her an answer. And the disciples approached and requested from him, saying, Dismiss her, for she crieth after us.

³⁵ And when much time had passed, the disciples came to him and said to him, This place is waste, and the time is great; ³⁶ send them away to go to the farms around us and into the villages, and buy for themselves bread, for they have nothing to eat.

³ And if it be that I send them away fasting to their houses, they will faint in the way; for some of them come from afar.

¹² BUT when the day began to decline, the disciples drew near and said to him, Send away the multitudes, that they may go to the villages and hamlets that are around, to lodge in them and to find for themselves victuals, because we are in a desert place.
