⁴ For though hee was crucified concerning his infirmitie, yet liueth hee through the power of God. And wee no doubt are weake in him, but we shall liue with him, through the power of God towarde you.

⁴³ And there appeared an Angell vnto him from heauen, comforting him. ⁴⁴ But being in an agonie, hee prayed more earnestly: and his sweate was like drops of blood, trickling downe to the ground.

¹⁸ No man taketh it from me, but I lay it downe of my selfe: I haue power to lay it downe, and haue power to take it againe: this commandement haue I receiued of my Father.

³⁶ Therefore, let all the house of Israel know for a suretie, that God hath made him both Lord, and Christ, this Iesus, I say, whome yee haue crucified.

¹⁶ And his Name hath made this man sound, whom ye see, and know, through faith in his Name: and the faith which is by him, hath giuen to him this perfite health of his whole body in the presence of you all.

¹⁰ Be it knowen vnto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye haue crucified, whome God raised againe from the dead, euen by him doth this man stand here before you, whole. ¹¹ This is the stone cast aside of you builders which is become the head of the corner. ¹² Neither is there saluation in any other: for among men there is giuen none other Name vnder heauen, whereby we must be saued.

⁴ And declared mightily to be the Sonne of God, touching the Spirit of sanctification by the resurrection from the dead)

⁴ We are buried then with him by baptisme into his death, that like as Christ was raysed vp from the dead to the glorie of the Father, so we also should walke in newnesse of life.

⁸ Wherefore, if we bee dead with Christ, we beleeue that we shall liue also with him, ⁹ Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead, dieth no more: death hath no more dominion ouer him. ¹⁰ For in that hee died, hee died once to sinne but in that he liueth, he liueth to God. ¹¹ Likewise thinke ye also, that ye are dead to sin, but are aliue to God in Iesus Christ our Lord.

⁹ For Christ therefore died and rose againe, and reuiued, that he might be Lord both of the dead and the quicke.

³ And I was among you in weakenesse, and in feare, and in much trembling.

⁴³ It is sowen in dishonour, and is raysed in glory: it is sowen in weakenesse, and is raysed in power.

⁷ But we haue this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellencie of that power might be of God, and not of vs. ⁸ Wee are afflicted on euery side, yet are we not in distresse: we are in doubt, but yet wee despaire not. ⁹ We are persecuted, but not forsaken: cast downe, but we perish not. ¹⁰ Euery where we beare about in our bodie the dying of the Lord Iesus, that the life of Iesus might also be made manifest in our bodies. ¹¹ For we which liue, are alwaies deliuered vnto death for Iesus sake, that the life also of Iesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. ¹² So then death worketh in vs, and life in you.

³ Neuerthelesse, though wee walke in the flesh, yet we doe not warre after the flesh. ⁴ (For the weapons of our warrefare are not carnall, but mightie through God, to cast downe holdes)

¹⁰ For the letters, sayeth hee, are sore and strong, but his bodily presence is weake, and his speache is of no value.

¹⁹ And what is the exceeding greatnesse of his power toward vs, which beleeue, according to the working of his mightie power, ²⁰ Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his right hand in the heauenly places, ²¹ Farre aboue al principalitie, and power, and might, and domination, and euery Name, that is named, not in this world only, but also in that that is to come, ²² And hath made all things subiect vnder his feete, and hath giuen him ouer all things to be the head to the Church, ²³ Which is his body, euen the fulnesse of him that filleth all in all things.

⁷ But he made himself of no reputation, and tooke on him ye forme of a seruant, and was made like vnto men, and was founde in shape as a man. ⁸ He humbled himselfe, and became obedient vnto the death, euen the death of the Crosse. ⁹ Wherefore God hath also highly exalted him, and giuen him a Name aboue euery name, ¹⁰ That at the Name of Iesus shoulde euery knee bowe, both of things in heauen, and things in earth, and things vnder the earth, ¹¹ And that euery tongue shoulde confesse that Iesus Christ is the Lord, vnto the glory of God the Father.

¹⁰ That I may know him, and the vertue of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his afflictions, and be made conformable vnto his death,

¹¹ It is a true saying, For if we be dead together with him, we also shall liue together with him. ¹² If we suffer, we shall also reigne together with him: if we denie him, he also will denie vs.

⁷ Who in the dayes of his flesh did offer vp prayers and supplications, with strong crying and teares vnto him, that was able to saue him from death, and was also heard in that which he feared.

¹⁸ For Christ also hath once suffered for sinnes, the iust for the vniust, that he might bring vs to God, and was put to death concerning the flesh, but was quickened by the spirit.

²² Which is at the right hand of God, gone into heauen, to whom the Angels, and Powers, and might are subiect.

¹⁷ And when I saw him, I fell at his feete as dead: then he laid his right hand vpon me, saying vnto me, Feare not: I am that first and that last, ¹⁸ And am aliue, but I was dead: and beholde, I am aliue for euermore, Amen: and I haue the keyes of hell and of death.
