⁶ Againe God said, Let there be a firmament in the mids of the waters: and let it separate the waters from the waters.

¹⁴ And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heauen, to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signes, and for seasons, and for dayes and yeeres.

²⁰ Afterward God said, Let the waters bring foorth in abundance euery creeping thing that hath life: and let the foule flie vpon the earth in the open firmament of the heauen.

¹¹ In the sixe hundreth yeere of Noahs life in the second moneth, the seuetenth day of the moneth, in the same day were all the fountaines of the great deepe broken vp, and the windowes of heauen were opened, ¹² And the raine was vpon the earth fourtie dayes and fourtie nightes.

⁷ He stretcheth out the North ouer the emptie place, and hangeth the earth vpon nothing. ⁸ He bindeth the waters in his cloudes, and the cloude is not broken vnder them.

¹³ His Spirite hath garnished the heauens, and his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.

¹¹ He maketh also the cloudes to labour, to water the earth, and scattereth the cloude of his light.

²² Hast thou entred into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seene the treasures of ye haile, ²³ Which I haue hid against the time of trouble, against the day of warre and battell? ²⁴ By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the East winde vpon the earth? ²⁵ Who hath deuided the spowtes for the raine? or the way for the lightning of ye thunders, ²⁶ To cause it to raine on the earth where no man is, and in the wildernes where there is no man?

¹ To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid. The heauens declare the glory of God, and the firmament sheweth ye worke of his hands.

⁶ By the worde of the Lord were the heauens made, and all the hoste of them by the breath of his mouth.

⁹ For he spake, and it was done: he commanded, and it stood.

² Which couereth himselfe with light as with a garment, and spreadeth the heauens like a curtaine.

⁵ Which by his wisedome made the heauens: for his mercie endureth for euer: ⁶ Which hath stretched out the earth vpon the waters: for his mercie endureth for euer:

⁴ Prayse ye him, heauens of heauens, and waters, that be aboue the heauens.

¹ Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye God in his Sanctuarie: prayse ye him in the firmament of his power.

³ If the clouds be full, they wil powre forth raine vpon the earth: and if the tree doe fall toward the South, or toward the North, in the place that the tree falleth, there it shalbe.

¹⁰ But the Lord is the God of trueth: he is the liuing God, and an euerlasting King: at his anger the earth shall tremble, and the nations cannot abide his wrath.

¹² He hath made the earth by his power, and established the worlde by his wisedome, and hath stretched out the heauen by his discretion. ¹³ Hee giueth by his voyce the multitude of waters in the heauen, and he causeth the cloudes to ascend from the endes of the earth: he turneth lightnings to rayne, and bringeth forth the winde out of his treasures.

¹⁵ He hath made the earth by his power, and established the world by his wisedome, and hath stretched out the heauen by his discretion.

¹ The burden of the worde of the Lord vpon Israel, sayth the Lord, which spred the heauens, and layed the foundation of the earth, and formed the spirite of man within him.
