¹⁹ In the sweate of thy face shalt thou eate bread, till thou returne to the earth: for out of it wast thou taken, because thou art dust, and to dust shalt thou returne.

⁷ The Lord God also made the man of the dust of the grounde, and breathed in his face breath of life, and the man was a liuing soule.

²⁷ Then Abraham answered and said, Behold nowe, I haue begun to speake vnto my Lord, and I am but dust and ashes.

⁴ I am a stranger, and a forreiner among you, giue me a possession of buriall with you, that I may burie my dead out of my sight.

²¹ And sayd, Naked came I out of my mothers wombe, and naked shall I returne thither: the Lord hath giuen, and the Lord hath taken it: blessed be the Name of the Lord.

¹³ Though I hope, yet the graue shall bee mine house, and I shall make my bed in the darke. ¹⁴ I shall say to corruption, Thou art my father, and to the worme, Thou art my mother and my sister. ¹⁵ Where is then now mine hope? or who shall consider the thing, that I hoped for? ¹⁶ They shall goe downe into the bottome of the pit: surely it shall lye together in the dust.

²⁶ And though after my skin wormes destroy this bodie, yet shall I see God in my flesh.

²⁶ They shall sleepe both in the dust, and the wormes shall couer them.

¹⁵ All flesh shall perish together, and man shall returne vnto dust.

¹⁵ My strength is dryed vp like a potsheard, and my tongue cleaueth to my iawes, and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

²⁹ All they that be fat in the earth, shall eate and worship: all they that go downe into the dust, shall bowe before him, euen he that cannot quicken his owne soule.

³ Thou turnest man to destruction: againe thou sayest, Returne, ye sonnes of Adam.

¹⁴ For he knoweth whereof we be made: he remembreth that we are but dust.

²⁹ But if thou hide thy face, they are troubled: if thou take away their breath, they dye and returne to their dust.

¹⁶ A man that wandreth out of the way of wisdome, shall remaine in the congregation of the dead.

³ What remaineth vnto man in all his trauaile, which he suffereth vnder ye sunne?

¹³ And I haue giuen mine heart to search and finde out wisdome by all things that are done vnder the heauen: (this sore trauaile hath GOD giuen to the sonnes of men, to humble them thereby)

²⁰ All goe to one place, and all was of the dust, and all shall returne to the dust.

¹⁵ And this also is an euill sickenes that in all pointes as he came, so shall he goe, and what profit hath he that he hath traueiled for the winde?

⁷ And dust returne to the earth as it was, and the spirit returne to God that gaue it.

² And many of them that sleepe in the dust of the earth, shall awake, some to euerlasting life, and some to shame and perpetuall contempt.

¹² Wherefore, as by one man sinne entred into ye world, and death by sinne, and so death went ouer all men: in who all men haue sinned. ¹³ For vnto the time of the Law was sinne in the worlde, but sinne is not imputed, while there is no lawe. ¹⁴ But death reigned from Adam to Moses, euen ouer them also that sinned not after the like maner of that transgression of Adam, which was the figure of him that was to come. ¹⁵ But yet the gift is not so, as is the offence: for if through the offence of that one, many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man Iesus Christ, hath abounded vnto many. ¹⁶ Neither is the gift so, as that which entred in by one that sinned: for the fault came of one offence vnto condemnation: but the gift is of many offences to iustification. ¹⁷ For if by the offence of one, death reigned through one, much more shall they which receiue that abundance of grace, and of that gift of that righteousnesse, reigne in life through one, that is, Iesus Christ. ¹⁸ Likewise then as by the offence of one, the fault came on all men to condemnation, so by the iustifying of one, the benefite abounded toward all men to the iustification of life. ¹⁹ For as by one mans disobedience many were made sinners, so by that obedience of that one shall many also be made righteous. ²⁰ Moreouer the Law entred thereupon that the offence shoulde abound: neuerthelesse, where sinne abounded, there grace abounded much more: ²¹ That as sinne had reigned vnto death, so might grace also reigne by righteousnesse vnto eternall life, through Iesus Christ our Lord.

²¹ For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. ²² For as in Adam all die, euen so in Christ shall all be made aliue,

²⁸ Let him that stole, steale no more: but let him rather labour, and worke with his handes the thing which is good, that hee may haue to giue vnto him that needeth.

⁹ For ye remember, brethren, our labour and trauaile: for we laboured day and night, because we would not be chargeable vnto any of you, and preached vnto you the Gospel of God.

¹⁰ For euen when we were with you, this we warned you of, that if there were any, which would not worke, that he should not eate.
