¹⁵ Also he blessed Ioseph and sayde, The God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Izhak did walke, the God, which hath fed me al my life long vnto this day, blesse thee.

²² And Henoch walked with God, after he begate Methushelah, three hundreth yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters. ²³ So all the dayes of Henoch were three hundreth sixtie and fiue yeeres. ²⁴ And Henoch walked with God, and he was no more seene: for God tooke him away.

⁹ These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a iust and vpright man in his time: and Noah walked with God.

¹ When Abram was ninetie yeere olde and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said vnto him, I am God all sufficient. walke before me, and be thou vpright,

²⁰ And she powred out her pitcher into the trough speedily; and ranne againe vnto the well to drawe water, and she drewe for all his camels.

²⁰ Then Iaakob vowed a vowe, saying, If God will be with me, and will keepe me in this iourney which I go, and wil giue me bread to eate, and clothes to put on:

²² And this stone, which I haue set vp as a pillar, shall be Gods house: and of all that thou shalt giue me, wil I giue the tenth vnto thee.

¹⁶ The Angel, which hath deliuered me from all euill, blesse the children, and let my name be named vpon them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Izhak, that they may growe as fish into a multitude in the middes of the earth.

²⁴ But his bowe abode strong, and the hands of his armes were strengthened, by the handes of the mighty God of Iaakob, of whom was the feeder appointed, by the stone of Israel,

²⁸ All these are the twelue tribes of Israel, and thus their father spake vnto them, and blessed them: euery one of them blessed hee with a seuerall blessing.

¹ Nowe this is the blessing wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death, and said,

⁶ And Salomon sayd, Thou hast shewed vnto thy seruant Dauid my father great mercie, when hee walked before thee in trueth, and in righteousnesse, and in vprightnes of heart with thee: and thou hast kept for him this great mercie, and hast giuen him a sonne, to sit on his throne, as appeareth this day.

⁸ I haue set the Lord alwayes before me: for hee is at my right hand: therefore I shall not slide.

³ Trust thou in the Lord and do good: dwell in the land, and thou shalt be fed assuredly.

⁴ Which redeemeth thy life from the graue, and crowneth thee with mercy and compassions. ⁵ Which satisfieth thy mouth with good things: and thy youth is renued like the eagles.

²⁴ There is no profit to man: but that he eate, and drinke, and delight his soule with the profit of his labour: I saw also this, that it was of the hand of God. ²⁵ For who could eate, and who could haste to outward things more then I?

¹² There is an euill sickenes that I haue seene vnder the sunne: to wit, riches reserued to the owners thereof for their euill.

¹⁸ Also to euery man to whom God hath giuen riches and treasures, and giueth him power to eate thereof, and to take his part, and to enioy his labour: this is the gift of God.

⁷ All the labour of man is for his mouth: yet the soule is not filled.

²¹ And thine eares shall heare a worde behind thee, saying, This is the way, walke ye in it, when thou turnest to the right hand, and when thou turnest to the left.

¹⁶ He shall dwell on hie: his defence shall be the munitions of rockes: bread shalbe giuen him, and his waters shalbe sure.

² And they shall spread them before the sunne and the moone, and all the host of heauen, whom they haue loued, and whome they haue serued, and whome they haue followed, and whome they haue sought, and whome they haue worshipped: they shall not be gathered nor be buried, but shall be as doung vpon the earth.

²⁵ Therefore I say vnto you, be not carefull for your life, what ye shall eate, or what ye shall drinke: nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more worth then meate? and the bodie then raiment? ²⁶ Behold the foules of the heauen: for they sowe not, neither reape, nor carie into the barnes: yet your heauenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better then they? ²⁷ Which of you by taking care is able to adde one cubite vnto his stature? ²⁸ And why care ye for raiment? Learne howe the lilies of the fielde doe growe: they are not wearied, neither spinne: ²⁹ Yet I say vnto you, that euen Salomon in all his glorie was not arayed like one of these. ³⁰ Wherefore if God so clothe the grasse of the fielde which is to day, and to morowe is cast into the ouen, shall he not doe much more vnto you, O ye of litle faith? ³¹ Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eate? or what shall we drinke? or where with shall we be clothed? ³² (For after all these things seeke the Gentiles) for your heauenly Father knoweth, that ye haue neede of all these things. ³³ But seeke ye first the kingdome of God, and his righteousnesse, and all these things shall be ministred vnto you. ³⁴ Care not then for the morowe: for the morowe shall care for it selfe: the day hath ynough with his owne griefe.

⁶ Both were iust before God, and walked in all the commandements and ordinances of the Lord, without reproofe.

³¹ Whether therefore ye eate, or drinke, or whatsoeuer ye doe, doe all to the glory of God.

¹² For our reioycing is this, the testimonie of our conscience, that in simplicitie and godly purenesse, and not in fleshly wisedome, but by the grace of God wee haue had our conuersation in the worlde, and most of all to you wardes.

⁶ As ye haue therefore receiued Christ Iesus the Lord, so walke in him,

¹² That ye would walke worthy of God, who hath called you vnto his kingdome and glorie.

⁶ But godlinesse is great gaine, if a man be content with that he hath. ⁷ For we brought nothing into the world, and it is certaine, that we can carie nothing out. ⁸ Therefore when wee haue foode and raiment, let vs therewith be content. ⁹ For they that will be rich, fall into tentation and snares, and into many foolish and noysome lustes, which drowne men in perdition and destruction. ¹⁰ For the desire of money is the roote of all euill, which while some lusted after, they erred from the faith, and pearced themselues through with many sorowes.

²¹ By faith Iacob when he was a dying, blessed both the sonnes of Ioseph, and leaning on the ende of his staffe, worshipped God.
