¹⁷ Then saide they vnto him, Wee haue here but fiue loaues, and two fishes.

²¹ And Moses saide, Six hundreth thousande footemen are there of the people, among whom I am: and thou saiest, I will giue them flesh, that they may eate a moneth long. ²² Shall the sheepe and the beeues be slaine for them, to finde them? either shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them to suffice them? ²³ And the Lord saide vnto Moses, Is the Lordes hand shortened? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to passe vnto thee, or no.

¹⁹ They spake against God also, saying, Can God prepare a table in the wildernesse? ²⁰ Behold, he smote the rocke, that the water gushed out, and the streames ouerflowed: can hee giue bread also? or prepare flesh for his people?

³³ And his disciples saide vnto him, Whence should we get so much bread in the wildernes, as should suffice so great a multitude! ³⁴ And Iesus said vnto them, How many loaues haue ye? And they said, Seuen, and a few litle fishes.

⁹ Doe ye not yet perceiue, neither remember the fiue loaues, when there were fiue thousand men, and how many baskets tooke ye vp?

³⁷ But he answered, and said vnto them, Giue yee them to eate. And they said vnto him, Shall we goe, and buy two hundreth peny worth of bread, and giue them to eate? ³⁸ Then he sayde vnto them, Howe many loaues haue ye? goe and looke. And when they knewe it, they sayd, Fiue, and two fishes.

⁴ Then his disciples answered him, Whence can a man satisfie these with bread here in the wildernes? ⁵ And hee asked them, Howe many loaues haue ye? And they said, Seuen.

¹³ But he sayd vnto them, Giue ye them to eate. And they sayd, We haue no more but fiue loaues and two fishes, except we should go and buy meate for all this people.

⁵ Then Iesus lift vp his eyes, and seeing that a great multitude came vnto him, hee sayde vnto Philippe, Whence shall we buy breade, that these might eate? ⁶ (And this he sayde to prooue him: for hee himselfe knewe what he would doe.) ⁷ Philippe answered him, Two hundreth penie worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that euery one of them may take a litle. ⁸ Then saide vnto him one of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peters brother, ⁹ There is a little boy heere, which hath fiue barlie loaues, and two fishes: but what are they among so many?
