³⁸ Stablish thy promise to thy seruaunt, because he feareth thee.

²⁵ Nowe therefore, O Lord God, confirme for euer the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy seruant and his house, and doe as thou hast sayde. ²⁶ And let thy Name bee magnified for euer by them that shall say, The Lord of hostes is the God ouer Israel: and let the house of thy seruant Dauid be stablished before thee. ²⁷ For thou, O Lord of hostes, God of Israel, hast reueiled vnto thy seruant, saying, I will build thee an house: therefore hath thy seruant bene bold to pray this prayer vnto thee. ²⁸ Therefore now, O Lord God, (for thou art God, and thy words be true, and thou hast tolde this goodnes vnto thy seruant) ²⁹ Therefore nowe let it please thee to blesse the house of thy seruant, that it may continue for euer before thee: for thou, O Lord God, hast spoken it: and let the house of thy seruant be blessed for euer, with thy blessing.

¹¹ For as high as the heauen is aboue ye earth, so great is his mercie toward them that feare him.

¹³ As a father hath compassion on his children, so hath the Lord compassion on them that feare him.

¹⁷ But the louing kindnesse of the Lord endureth for euer and euer vpon them that feare him, and his righteousnes vpon childrens children,

⁴⁹ ZAIN. Remember the promise made to thy seruant, wherein thou hast caused me to trust.

¹⁹ He wil fulfill the desire of them that feare him: he also wil heare their cry, and wil saue them.

¹¹ But the Lord deliteth in them that feare him, and attende vpon his mercie.

³⁹ And I wil giue them one heart and one way that they may feare me for euer for ye wealth of them, and of their children after them. ⁴⁰ And I wil make an euerlasting couenant with them, that I wil neuer turne away from them to doe them good, but I wil put my feare in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me. ⁴¹ Yea, I wil delite in them to do them good, and I wil plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart, and with all my soule.
