⁴ in which they are astonished you not running to the same excess of wrath, blaspheming;

²⁵ Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because you purify the exterior of the cup and the plate, and within they are full of extortion and impurity.

²² It has happened unto them according to the old proverb, The dog having returned to his own vomit; and the sow that had washed to wallowing in the mire.

¹⁰ But these blaspheme so many things as they know not: and so many things as they understand naturally, like irrational animals, in these they are corrupted.
