²⁵ For when they may rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage; but they are as angels in the heavens.

³⁰ For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but they are as angels of God in heaven:

³⁵ but those counted worthy to attain that age and the resurrection, which is from the dead, ³⁶ neither marry nor are given in marriage; for they are not able yet to die; for they are like the angels, and sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.

⁴² So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: ⁴³ it is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. ⁴⁴ It is sown a psychical body; it is raised a pneumatical body. If there is a psychical body, there is also a pneumatical (body). ⁴⁵ As indeed it has been written; The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last man Adam, a life-creating spirit. ⁴⁶ But that which is spiritual was not first, but that which is animal; afterward that which is spiritual. ⁴⁷ The first man was from the earth, earthy: the second man from heaven. ⁴⁸ As was the earthy, such are they also who are earthy; and as was the heavenly, such are they also who are heavenly. ⁴⁹ And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we must also bear the image of the heavenly. ⁵⁰ But I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood are not able to inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption. ⁵¹ Behold, I speak to you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, ⁵² in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. ⁵³ For it behooves this corruptible to put on incorruption, and this mortal to put on immortality. ⁵⁴ But when this corruptible may put on incorruption, and this mortal may put on immorality, then shall the word which has been written be fulfilled, Death is swallowed up in victory.

²² but you have come to mount Zion, and to the heavenly Jerusalem, to the city of the living God, and to myriads of angels, ²³ to the whole company, and to the church of the first-born, who have been written in the heavens, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of justified people who have been made perfect,

² Beloved, now are we the children of God, and it is not yet manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he may be made manifest, we shall be like him; because we shall see him as he is.
