⁶ An vnwyse man doth not well considre this, and a foole doth not vnderstande it.

¹ To the chaunter a Psalme of Dauid. The fole hath sayed in hys hert, there is no God. They are corrupt, and become abhomynable in theyr doynges there is not one that doth good.

⁹ I wyll enfourme the, & teache the in the waye wherin thou shalt go: and I wyll guyde the with myne eye.

¹⁰ For he seeth, that wyse men also dye, and peryshe together, as well as the ignoraunt & folysh, and leaue theyr ryches for other:

²² So folysh was I and ignoraunt, euen as it were a beast before the.

⁴ The earth is weake and all the in habiters therof, I beare vp the pyllers of it.

⁸ Take hede, ye vnwyse amonge the people, O ye fooles, whan will ye vnderstande?

²² O ye children, how longe wyll ye loue childesshnes? how longe wyll the scorners delyte in scorning, & the vnwyse be enemyes vnto knowledge?

⁷ Wysdom is to hye a thinge for a fole, for he darre not open his mouth in the gate.

² I am more foolysh then any man, and haue no mans vnderstandyng

³ The oxe hath knowne his owner & the asse his masters cribb: but Israel hath receaued no knowledge, my people hath no vnderstandyng.

¹⁴ His wysdome maketh all men fooles. And confounded be all casters of ymages, for that they cast, is but a vayne thynge, & hath no lyfe.

²⁰ But God sayd vnto him. Thou fole, this nyght will they fetche awaye thy soule agayne from the. Then whose shall those thynges be, which thou hast prouided?

¹⁴ The naturall man perceaueth not the thinges that belonge to the sprete of God. For they are but folyshnes vnto him. Nether can he perceaue them, because they are spretually examined.
