Nehemiah 5:1-13

1 H1961 ותהי And there was H6818 צעקת cry H5971 העם of the people H802 ונשׁיהם and of their wives H1419 גדולה a great H413 אל against H251 אחיהם their brethren H3064 היהודים׃ the Jews.

3 H3426 וישׁ also there were H834 אשׁר that H559 אמרים said, H7704 שׂדתינו our lands, H3754 וכרמינו vineyards, H1004 ובתינו and houses, H587 אנחנו We H6148 ערבים have mortgaged H3947 ונקחה that we might buy H1715 דגן corn, H7458 ברעב׃ because of the dearth.

4 H3426 וישׁ There were H834 אשׁר also that H559 אמרים said, H3867 לוינו We have borrowed H3701 כסף money H4060 למדת tribute, H4428 המלך for the king's H7704 שׂדתינו our lands H3754 וכרמינו׃ and vineyards.

8 H559 ואמרה And I said H587 להם אנחנו unto them, We H7069 קנינו have redeemed H853 את H251 אחינו our brethren H3064 היהודים the Jews, H4376 הנמכרים which were sold H1471 לגוים unto the heathen; H1767 כדי after our ability H1571 בנו וגם even H859 אתם and will ye H4376 תמכרו sell H853 את H251 אחיכם your brethren?
