  4 H1931 הוא He H5493 הסיר removed H853 את   H1116 הבמות the high places, H7665 ושׁבר and broke H853 את   H4676 המצבת the images, H3772 וכרת and cut down H853 את   H842 האשׁרה the groves, H3807 וכתת and broke in pieces H5175 נחשׁ serpent H5178 הנחשׁת the brazen H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂה had made: H4872 משׁה Moses H3588 כי for H5704 עד unto H3117 הימים days H1992 ההמה those H1961 היו did H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H6999 מקטרים burn incense H7121 לו ויקרא to it: and he called H5180 לו נחשׁתן׃ it Nehushtan.

  5 H3068 ביהוה in the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel; H982 בטח He trusted H310 ואחריו so that after H3808 לא none H1961 היה him was H3644 כמהו like him H3605 בכל among all H4428 מלכי the kings H3063 יהודה of Judah, H834 ואשׁר nor that H1961 היו were H6440 לפניו׃ before

  6 H1692 וידבק For he cleaved H3068 ביהוה to the LORD, H3808 לא not H5493 סר departed H310 מאחריו from following H8104 וישׁמר him, but kept H4687 מצותיו his commandments, H834 אשׁר which H6680 צוה commanded H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את   H4872 משׁה׃ Moses.

  33 H5337 ההצל delivered at all H5337 הצילו delivered at all H430 אלהי of the gods H1471 הגוים of the nations H376 אישׁ Hath any H853 את   H776 ארצו his land H3027 מיד out of the hand H4428 מלך of the king H804 אשׁור׃ of Assyria?

  34 H346 איה Where H430 אלהי the gods H2574 חמת of Hamath, H774 וארפד and of Arpad? H346 איה where H430 אלהי the gods H5617 ספרוים of Sepharvaim, H2012 הנע Hena, H5755 ועוה and Ivah? H3588 כי   H5337 הצילו have they delivered H853 את   H8111 שׁמרון Samaria H3027 מידי׃ out of mine hand?

  35 H4310 מי Who H3605 בכל they among all H430 אלהי the gods H776 הארצות of the countries, H834 אשׁר that H5337 הצילו have delivered H853 את   H776 ארצם their country H3027 מידי out of mine hand, H3588 כי that H5337 יציל should deliver H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את   H3389 ירושׁלם Jerusalem H3027 מידי׃ out of mine hand?

  36 H2790 והחרישׁו held their peace, H5971 העם But the people H3808 ולא him not H6030 ענו and answered H853 אתו   H1697 דבר a word: H3588 כי for H4687 מצות commandment H4428 המלך the king's H1931 היא   H559 לאמר was, saying, H3808 לא him not. H6030 תענהו׃ Answer
