  3 H5414 ואתנה And I set H853 את   H6440 פני my face H413 אל unto H136 אדני the Lord H430 האלהים God, H1245 לבקשׁ to seek H8605 תפלה by prayer H8469 ותחנונים and supplications, H6685 בצום with fasting, H8242 ושׂק and sackcloth, H665 ואפר׃ and ashes:

  6 H5060 ויגע came H1697 הדבר For word H413 אל unto H4428 מלך the king H5210 נינוה of Nineveh, H6965 ויקם and he arose H3678 מכסאו from his throne, H5674 ויעבר and he laid H155 אדרתו his robe H5921 מעליו from H3680 ויכס him, and covered H8242 שׂק with sackcloth, H3427 וישׁב and sat H5921 על in H665 האפר׃ ashes.

  7 H2199 ויזעק And he caused to be proclaimed H559 ויאמר and published H5210 בנינוה through Nineveh H2940 מטעם by the decree H4428 המלך of the king H1419 וגדליו and his nobles, H559 לאמר saying, H120 האדם man H929 והבהמה nor beast, H1241 הבקר herd H6629 והצאן nor flock, H408 אל Let neither H2938 יטעמו taste H3972 מאומה any thing: H408 אל let them not H7462 ירעו feed, H4325 ומים water: H408 אל nor H8354 ישׁתו׃ drink

  8 H3680 ויתכסו be covered H8242 שׂקים with sackcloth, H120 האדם But let man H929 והבהמה and beast H7121 ויקראו and cry H413 אל unto H430 אלהים God: H2394 בחזקה mightily H7725 וישׁבו yea, let them turn H376 אישׁ every one H1870 מדרכו way, H7451 הרעה from his evil H4480 ומן way, H2555 החמס the violence H834 אשׁר that H3709 בכפיהם׃ in their hands.

  9 H4310 מי Who H3045 יודע can tell H7725 ישׁוב will turn H5162 ונחם and repent, H430 האלהים God H7725 ושׁב and turn away H2740 מחרון from his fierce H639 אפו anger, H3808 ולא not? H6 נאבד׃ that we perish

  10 H7200 וירא saw H430 האלהים And God H853 את   H4639 מעשׂיהם their works, H3588 כי that H7725 שׁבו they turned H1870 מדרכם way; H7451 הרעה from their evil H5162 וינחם repented H430 האלהים and God H5921 על of H7451 הרעה the evil, H834 אשׁר that H1696 דבר he had said H6213 לעשׂות that he would do H1992 להם   H3808 ולא not. H6213 עשׂה׃ unto them; and he did

  11 H8085 וישׁמעו heard H7969 שׁלשׁת three H7453 רעי friends H347 איוב Now when Job's H853 את   H3605 כל of all H7451 הרעה evil H2063 הזאת this H935 הבאה that was come H5921 עליו upon H935 ויבאו him, they came H376 אישׁ every one H4725 ממקמו from his own place; H464 אליפז Eliphaz H8489 התימני the Temanite, H1085 ובלדד and Bildad H7747 השׁוחי the Shuhite, H6691 וצופר and Zophar H5284 הנעמתי the Naamathite: H3259 ויועדו for they had made an appointment H3162 יחדו together H935 לבוא to come H5110 לנוד to mourn H5162 לו ולנחמו׃ with him and to comfort

  1 H6030 ויען answered H464 אליפז Then Eliphaz H8489 התימני the Temanite H559 ויאמר׃ and said,

  1 H6030 ויען Then answered H6691 צפר Zophar H5284 הנעמתי the Naamathite, H559 ויאמר׃ and said,

  5 H199 ואולם But H4310 מי oh that H5414 יתן would H433 אלוה God H1696 דבר speak, H6605 ויפתח and open H8193 שׂפתיו his lips H5973 עמך׃ against

  6 H5046 ויגד And that he would show H8587 לך תעלמות thee the secrets H2451 חכמה of wisdom, H3588 כי that H3718 כפלים double H8454 לתושׁיה to that which is! H3045 ודע Know H3588 כי therefore that H5382 ישׁה exacteth H433 לך אלוה God H5771 מעונך׃ of thee than thine iniquity

  2 H2734 ויחר Then was kindled H639 אף the wrath H453 אליהוא of Elihu H1121 בן the son H1292 ברכאל of Barachel H940 הבוזי the Buzite, H4940 ממשׁפחת of the kindred H7410 רם of Ram: H347 באיוב against Job H2734 חרה kindled, H639 אפו was his wrath H5921 על because H6663 צדקו he justified H5315 נפשׁו himself H430 מאלהים׃  

  3 H7969 ובשׁלשׁת Also against his three H7453 רעיו friends H2734 חרה kindled, H639 אפו was his wrath H5921 על because H834 אשׁר because H3808 לא no H4672 מצאו they had found H4617 מענה answer, H7561 וירשׁיעו and had condemned H853 את   H347 איוב׃ Job.

  5 H7200 וירא saw H453 אליהוא When Elihu H3588 כי that H369 אין no H4617 מענה answer H6310 בפי in the mouth H7969 שׁלשׁת of three H376 האנשׁים men, H2734 ויחר was kindled. H639 אפו׃ then his wrath

  4 H905 לך לבדך Against thee, thee only, H2398 חטאתי have I sinned, H7451 והרע evil H5869 בעיניך in thy sight: H6213 עשׂיתי and done H4616 למען that H6663 תצדק thou mightest be justified H1696 בדברך when thou speakest, H2135 תזכה be clear H8199 בשׁפטך׃ when thou judgest.

  17 H6419 ויתפלל prayed H85 אברהם So Abraham H413 אל unto H430 האלהים God: H7495 וירפא healed H430 אלהים and God H853 את   H40 אבימלך Abimelech, H853 ואת   H802 אשׁתו and his wife, H519 ואמהתיו and his maidservants; H3205 וילדו׃ and they bore

  12 H3947 ויקח took H3503 יתרו And Jethro, H2859 חתן father-in-law, H4872 משׁה Moses' H5930 עלה a burnt offering H2077 וזבחים and sacrifices H430 לאלהים for God: H935 ויבא came, H175 אהרן and Aaron H3605 וכל and all H2205 זקני the elders H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H398 לאכל to eat H3899 לחם bread H5973 עם with H2859 חתן father-in-law H4872 משׁה Moses' H6440 לפני before H430 האלהים׃ God.

  14 H3947 ויקחהו And he brought H7704 שׂדה him into the field H6839 צפים of Zophim, H413 אל to H7218 ראשׁ the top H6449 הפסגה of Pisgah, H1129 ויבן and built H7651 שׁבעה seven H4196 מזבחת altars, H5927 ויעל and offered H6499 פר a bullock H352 ואיל and a ram H4196 במזבח׃ on altar.

  29 H559 ויאמר said H1109 בלעם And Balaam H413 אל unto H1111 בלק Balak, H1129 בנה Build H2088 לי בזה me here H7651 שׁבעה seven H4196 מזבחת altars, H3559 והכן and prepare H2088 לי בזה me here H7651 שׁבעה seven H6499 פרים bullocks H7651 ושׁבעה and seven H352 אילם׃ rams.

  35 H3947 ויקח received H1732 דוד So David H3027 מידה of her hand H853 את   H834 אשׁר which H935 הביאה she had brought H559 לו ולה אמר him, and said H5927 עלי unto her, Go up H7965 לשׁלום in peace H1004 לביתך to thine house; H7200 ראי see, H8085 שׁמעתי I have hearkened H6963 בקולך to thy voice, H5375 ואשׂא and have accepted H6440 פניך׃ thy person.

  26 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H5826 בעזר helped H430 האלהים when God H853 את   H3881 הלוים the Levites H5375 נשׂאי that bore H727 ארון the ark H1285 ברית of the covenant H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H2076 ויזבחו that they offered H7651 שׁבעה seven H6499 פרים bullocks H7651 ושׁבעה and seven H352 אילים׃ rams.

  21 H935 ויביאו And they brought H6499 פרים bullocks, H7651 שׁבעה seven H352 ואילים rams, H7651 שׁבעה and seven H3532 וכבשׂים lambs, H7651 שׁבעה and seven H6842 וצפירי he goats, H5795 עזים he goats, H7651 שׁבעה and seven H2403 לחטאת for a sin offering H5921 על for H4467 הממלכה the kingdom, H5921 ועל and for H4720 המקדשׁ the sanctuary, H5921 ועל and for H3063 יהודה Judah. H559 ויאמר And he commanded H1121 לבני the sons H175 אהרן of Aaron H3548 הכהנים the priests H5927 להעלות to offer H5921 על on H4196 מזבח the altar H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.

  5 H1961 ויהי And it was H3588 כי so, when H5362 הקיפו were gone about, H3117 ימי the days H4960 המשׁתה of feasting H7971 וישׁלח sent H347 איוב that Job H6942 ויקדשׁם and sanctified H7925 והשׁכים them, and rose up early H1242 בבקר in the morning, H5927 והעלה and offered H5930 עלות burnt offerings H4557 מספר to the number H3605 כלם of them all: H3588 כי for H559 אמר said, H347 איוב Job H194 אולי It may be H2398 חטאו have sinned, H1121 בני that my sons H1288 וברכו and cursed H430 אלהים God H3824 בלבבם in their hearts. H3602 ככה Thus H6213 יעשׂה did H347 איוב Job H3605 כל continually. H3117 הימים׃ continually.

  30 H4422 ימלט He shall deliver H336 אי the island H5355 נקי of the innocent: H4422 ונמלט and it is delivered H1252 בבר by the pureness H3709 כפיך׃ of thine hands.

  9 H1980 וילכו went, H464 אליפז So Eliphaz H8489 התימני the Temanite H1085 ובלדד and Bildad H7747 השׁוחי the Shuhite H6691 צפר Zophar H5284 הנעמתי the Naamathite H6213 ויעשׂו and did H834 כאשׁר according as H1696 דבר commanded H413 אליהם commanded H3068 יהוה the LORD H5375 וישׂא also accepted H3068 יהוה them: the LORD H853 את   H6440 פני also accepted H347 איוב׃ Job.

  10 H3808 לא He hath not H2399 כחטאינו with us after our sins; H6213 עשׂה dealt H3808 לנו ולא nor H5771 כעונתינו us according to our iniquities. H1580 גמל rewarded H5921 עלינו׃ rewarded

  14 H1980 והלכו thee shall come H413 אליך unto H7817 שׁחוח bending H1121 בני The sons H6031 מעניך also of them that afflicted H7812 והשׁתחוו thee shall bow themselves down H5921 על at H3709 כפות the soles H7272 רגליך of thy feet; H3605 כל thee; and all H5006 מנאציך they that despised H7121 וקראו and they shall call H5892 לך עיר thee, The city H3069 יהוה   H6726 ציון The Zion H6918 קדושׁ of the Holy One H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

  11 H559 ויאמר Then said H3068 יהוה the LORD H413 אלי unto H408 אל not H6419 תתפלל me, Pray H1157 בעד for H5971 העם people H2088 הזה this H2896 לטובה׃ for good.

  1 H559 ויאמר Then said H3068 יהוה the LORD H413 אלי unto H518 אם me, Though H5975 יעמד stood H4872 משׁה Moses H8050 ושׁמואל and Samuel H6440 לפני before H369 אין not H5315 נפשׁי me, my mind H413 אל toward H5971 העם people: H2088 הזה this H7971 שׁלח cast H5921 מעל out of H6440 פני my sight, H3318 ויצאו׃ and let them go forth.

  14 H1961 והיו were H7969 שׁלשׁת three H582 האנשׁים   H428 האלה Though these H8432 בתוכה in H5146 נח Noah, H1840 דנאל Daniel, H347 ואיוב and Job, H1992 המה it, they H6666 בצדקתם by their righteousness, H5337 ינצלו should deliver H5315 נפשׁם their own souls H5002 נאם saith H136 אדני the Lord H3068 יהוה׃  

  23 H7651 ושׁבעת And seven H3117 ימי days H2282 החג of the feast H6213 יעשׂה he shall prepare H5930 עולה a burnt offering H3068 ליהוה to the LORD, H7651 שׁבעת seven H6499 פרים bullocks H7651 ושׁבעת and seven H352 אילים rams H8549 תמימם without blemish H3117 ליום daily H7651 שׁבעת the seven H3117 הימים days; H2403 וחטאת a sin offering. H8163 שׂעיר and a kid H5795 עזים of the goats H3117 ליום׃ daily

  8 H3588 וכי And if H5066 תגשׁון ye offer H5787 עור the blind H2076 לזבח for sacrifice, H369 אין not H7451 רע evil? H3588 וכי and if H5066 תגישׁו ye offer H6455 פסח the lame H2470 וחלה and sick, H369 אין not H7451 רע evil? H7126 הקריבהו offer H4994 נא it now H6346 לפחתך unto thy governor; H7521 הירצך will he be pleased H176 או with thee, or H5375 הישׂא accept H6440 פניך thy person? H559 אמר saith H3069 יהוה   H6635 צבאות׃ of hosts.

  9 H6258 ועתה And now, H2470 חלו beseech H4994 נא I pray you, H6440 פני persons? H410 אל God H2603 ויחננו that he will be gracious H3027 מידכם by your means: H1961 היתה hath been H2063 זאת unto us: this H5375 הישׂא will he regard H4480 מכם by your means: H6440 פנים   H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות׃ of hosts.

  27 H6279 תעתיר Thou shalt make thy prayer H413 אליו unto H8085 וישׁמעך him, and he shall hear H5088 ונדריך thy vows. H7999 תשׁלם׃ thee, and thou shalt pay

  31 H3588 כי Surely it is meet H413 אל unto H410 אל God, H559 האמר to be said H5375 נשׂאתי I have borne H3808 לא I will not H2254 אחבל׃ offend

  32 H1107 בלעדי not H2372 אחזה I see H859 אתה thou H3384 הרני teach H518 אם me: if H5766 עול iniquity, H6466 פעלתי I have done H3808 לא no H3254 אסיף׃ I will do

  8 H6258 ועתה unto you now H3947 קחו Therefore take H7651 לכם שׁבעה seven H6499 פרים bullocks H7651 ושׁבעה and seven H352 אילים rams, H1980 ולכו and go H413 אל to H5650 עבדי my servant H347 איוב Job, H5927 והעליתם and offer up H5930 עולה yourselves a burnt offering; H1157 בעדכם for H347 ואיוב Job H5650 עבדי and my servant H6419 יתפלל shall pray H5921 עליכם for H3588 כי you: for H518 אם you: for H6440 פניו him H5375 אשׂא will I accept: H1115 לבלתי lest H6213 עשׂות I deal H5973 עמכם with H5039 נבלה you folly, H3588 כי in that H3808 לא ye have not H1696 דברתם spoken H413 אלי of H3559 נכונה me right, H5650 כעבדי like my servant H347 איוב׃ Job.
