  37 H7592 וישׁאל asked counsel H7586 שׁאול And Saul H430 באלהים of God, H3381 הארד Shall I go down H310 אחרי after H6430 פלשׁתים the Philistines? H5414 התתנם wilt thou deliver H3027 ביד them into the hand H3478 ישׂראל of Israel? H3808 ולא him not H6030 ענהו But he answered H3117 ביום day. H1931 ההוא׃ that

  38 H559 ויאמר said, H7586 שׁאול And Saul H5066 גשׁו Draw ye near H1988 הלם hither, H3605 כל all H6438 פנות the chief H5971 העם of the people: H3045 ודעו and know H7200 וראו and see H4100 במה wherein H1961 היתה hath been H2403 החטאת this sin H2063 הזאת this H3117 היום׃ day.

  39 H3588 כי For, H2416 חי liveth, H3068 יהוה the LORD H3467 המושׁיע which saveth H853 את   H3478 ישׂראל Israel, H3588 כי though H518 אם though H3426 ישׁנו it be H3129 ביונתן   H1121 בני my son, H3588 כי   H4191 מות he shall surely die. H4191 ימות he shall surely die. H369 ואין But not a man H6030 ענהו answered H3605 מכל among all H5971 העם׃ the people

  40 H559 ויאמר Then said H413 אל he unto H3605 כל all H3478 ישׂראל Israel, H859 אתם ye H1961 תהיו Be H5676 לעבר side, H259 אחד on one H589 ואני and I H3129 ויונתן   H1121 בני my son H1961 נהיה will be H5676 לעבר side. H259 אחד on the other H559 ויאמרו said H5971 העם And the people H413 אל unto H7586 שׁאול Saul, H2896 הטוב good H5869 בעיניך what seemeth H6213 עשׂה׃ Do

  41 H559 ויאמר said H7586 שׁאול Therefore Saul H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H3051 הבה Give H8549 תמים a perfect H3920 וילכד were taken: H3129 יונתן   H7586 ושׁאול And Saul H5971 והעם but the people H3318 יצאו׃ escaped.

  42 H559 ויאמר said, H7586 שׁאול And Saul H5307 הפילו Cast H996 ביני between H996 ובין   H3129 יונתן   H1121 בני my son. H3920 וילכד was taken. H3129 יונתן׃  

  43 H559 ויאמר said H7586 שׁאול Then Saul H413 אל to H3129 יונתן   H5046 הגידה Tell H4100 לי מה me what H6213 עשׂיתה thou hast done. H5046 ויגד told H3129 לו יונתן   H559 ויאמר him, and said, H2938 טעם   H2938 טעמתי   H7097 בקצה with the end H4294 המטה of the rod H834 אשׁר that H3027 בידי in mine hand, H4592 מעט a little H1706 דבשׁ honey H2005 הנני   H4191 אמות׃ I must die.

  44 H559 ויאמר answered, H7586 שׁאול And Saul H3541 כה so H6213 יעשׂה do H430 אלהים God H3541 וכה also: H3254 יוסף and more H3588 כי for H4191 מות thou shalt surely die, H4191 תמות thou shalt surely die, H3129 יונתן׃  

  45 H559 ויאמר said H5971 העם And the people H413 אל unto H7586 שׁאול Saul, H3129 היונתן   H4191 ימות die, H834 אשׁר who H6213 עשׂה hath wrought H3444 הישׁועה salvation H1419 הגדולה great H2063 הזאת this H3478 בישׂראל in Israel? H2486 חלילה God forbid: H2416 חי liveth, H3068 יהוה the LORD H518 אם there shall not H5307 יפל fall H8185 משׂערת one hair H7218 ראשׁו of his head H776 ארצה to the ground; H3588 כי for H5973 עם with H430 אלהים God H6213 עשׂה he hath wrought H3117 היום day.   46 H5927 ויעל went up H7586 שׁאול Then Saul H310 מאחרי from following H6430 פלשׁתים the Philistines: H6430 ופלשׁתים and the Philistines H1980 הלכו went H4725 למקומם׃ to their own place.

  8 H3782 ויכשׁילוהו to fall H5921 עלימו upon H3956 לשׁונם So they shall make their own tongue H5074 יתנדדו them shall flee away. H3605 כל themselves: all H7200 ראה׃ that see

  13 H6588 בפשׁע by the transgression H8193 שׂפתים of lips: H4170 מוקשׁ is snared H7451 רע The wicked H3318 ויצא shall come out H6869 מצרה of trouble. H6662 צדיק׃ but the just

  16 H3808 לא Thou shalt not H1980 תלך go up and down H7400 רכיל a talebearer H5971 בעמיך among thy people: H3808 לא neither H5975 תעמד shalt thou stand H5921 על against H1818 דם the blood H7453 רעך of thy neighbor: H589 אני I H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.
