¹⁴ David was successful in all that he did, for the LORD was with him.

² But the LORD was with Joseph. He became a very prosperous man while in the house of his Egyptian master, ³ who could see that the LORD was with Joseph, because the LORD made everything prosper that Joseph did.

²³ The prison warden did not have to worry about anything under Joseph’s care, because the LORD was with him. That’s why Joseph prospered in everything he did.

²⁷ So the LORD was with Joshua, and as a result, Joshua’s reputation spread throughout the land.

⁷ When these signs occur, do whatever you want to do, because the LORD is with you.
