³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy begat us again unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

⁶ And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed: 'The LORD, the LORD, God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth;

¹⁵ And he said: 'Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who spoke with His mouth unto David my father, and hath with His hand fulfilled it, saying:

¹⁰ Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation; and David said: 'Blessed be Thou, O LORD, the God of Israel our father, for ever and ever. ¹¹ Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty; for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is Thine; Thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and Thou art exalted as head above all. ¹² Both riches and honour come of Thee, and Thou rulest over all; and in Thy hand is power and might; and in Thy hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. ¹³ Now therefore, our God, we thank Thee, and praise Thy glorious name.

²⁰ And David said to all the congregation: 'Now bless the LORD your God.' And all the congregation blessed the LORD, the God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and prostrated themselves before the LORD, and before the king.

¹³ (41:14) Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.

¹⁸ Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things; ¹⁹ And blessed be His glorious name for ever; and let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen, and Amen.

⁵ For Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to pardon, and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon Thee.

¹⁵ But Thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

¹⁹ Thy dead shall live, my dead bodies shall arise - awake and sing, ye that dwell in the dust - for Thy dew is as the dew of light, and the earth shall bring to life the shades.

² And he prayed unto the LORD, and said: 'I pray Thee, O LORD, was not this my saying, when I was yet in mine own country? Therefore I fled beforehand unto Tarshish; for I knew that Thou art a gracious God, and compassionate, long- suffering, and abundant in mercy, and repentest Thee of the evil.

¹³ who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

³ Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God. ⁴ Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born? ⁵ Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God! ⁶ That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. ⁷ Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born anew. ⁸ The wind bloweth where it will, and thou hearest the voice thereof, but knowest not whence it cometh, and whither it goeth; so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

²⁵ who was delivered up for our trespasses, and was raised for our justification.

⁴ and stedfastness, approvedness, and approvedness, hope: ⁵ and hope putteth not to shame, because the love of God hath been shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Spirit which was given unto us.

¹⁰ For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, shall we be saved by his life,

¹⁵ But not as the trespass, so also is the free gift. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God, and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound unto the many. ¹⁶ And not as through one that sinned, so is the gift; for the judgment came of one unto condemnation, but the free gift came of many trespasses unto justification. ¹⁷ For if, by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one, much more shall they that receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, even Jesus Christ. ¹⁸ So then as through one trespass the judgment came unto all men to condemnation, even so through one act of righteousness the free gift came unto all men to justification of life. ¹⁹ For as through the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one shall the many be made righteous. ²⁰ And the law came in besides, that the trespass might abound, but where sin abounded, grace did abound more exceedingly: ²¹ that, as sin reigned in death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

¹¹ But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead shall give life also to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

²⁴ For in hope were we saved; but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopeth for that which he seeth?

¹² rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing stedfastly in prayer,

¹³ Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.

¹³ But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three, and the greatest of these is love.

²⁰ But now hath Christ been raised from the dead, having become the firstfruits of them that are asleep.

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ:

⁷ in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

¹⁷ that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him,

⁴ but God, being rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

⁶ and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus: ⁷ that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus: ⁸ for by grace have ye been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, ⁹ not of works, that no man should glory. ¹⁰ For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God afore prepared that we should walk in them.

²⁰ Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

²³ if so be that ye continue in the faith, grounded and stedfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel which ye heard, which was preached in all creation under heaven, whereof I Paul was made a minister.

²⁷ to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, who is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

³ remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father,

¹³ But we would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning them that fall asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as the rest, who have no hope.

¹⁴ and the grace of our Lord abounded exceedingly with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

¹³ looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ,

⁴ But when the kindness of God our Saviour, and his love toward man, appeared, ⁵ not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, ⁶ which he poured out upon us richly, through Jesus Christ our Saviour,

⁶ but Christ as a son, over his house, whose house are we, if we hold fast our boldness and the glorying of our hope firm unto the end.

¹⁸ that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us: ¹⁹ which we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and stedfast and entering into that which is within the veil,

¹⁸ Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

²³ having been begotten again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

² as newborn babes, long for the spiritual milk which is without guile, that ye may grow thereby unto salvation,

²¹ which also after a true likeness doth now save you, even baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

²⁹ If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is begotten of him.

³ And every one that hath this hope set on him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

⁹ Whosoever is begotten of God doeth no sin, because his seed abideth in him; and he cannot sin, because he is begotten of God.

⁷ Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God, and every one that loveth is begotten of God, and knoweth God.

¹ Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is begotten of God; and whosoever loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

⁴ For whatsoever is begotten of God overcometh the world; and this is the victory that hath overcome the world, even your faith.

¹⁸ We know that whosoever is begotten of God sinneth not, but he that was begotten of God keepeth himself, and the evil one toucheth him not.
