³⁰ Therefore the LORD, the God of Israel, saith: I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before Me for ever; but now the LORD saith: Be it far from Me: for them that honour Me I will honour, and they that despise Me shall be lightly esteemed.

⁴³ And they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they go in unto the tent of meeting, or when they come near unto the altar to minister in the holy place; that they bear not iniquity, and die; it shall be a statute for ever unto him and unto his seed after him.

⁹ And thou shalt gird them with girdles, Aaron and his sons, and bind head-tires on them; and they shall have the priesthood by a perpetual statute; and thou shalt consecrate Aaron and his sons.

²⁰ but a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto you; because that ye have rejected the LORD who is among you, and have troubled Him with weeping, saying: Why, now, came we forth out of Egypt?'

¹¹ 'Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned My wrath away from the children of Israel, in that he was very jealous for My sake among them, so that I consumed not the children of Israel in My jealousy. ¹² Wherefore say: Behold, I give unto him My covenant of peace; ¹³ and it shall be unto him, and to his seed after him, the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was jealous for his God, and made atonement for the children of Israel.'

³⁴ And thou shalt not defile the land which ye inhabit, in the midst of which I dwell; for I the LORD dwell in the midst of the children of Israel.'

²³ that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father that sent him.

⁴⁴ How can ye believe, who receive glory one of another, and the glory that cometh from the only God ye seek not?

⁴⁹ Jesus answered, I have not a demon, but I honor my Father, and ye dishonor me.

²⁶ If any man serve me, let him follow me, and where I am, there shall also my servant be; if any man serve me, him will the Father honor.

³¹ When therefore he was gone out, Jesus saith, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him, ³² and God shall glorify him in himself, and straightway shall he glorify him.

⁴ I glorified thee on the earth, having accomplished the work which thou hast given me to do. ⁵ And now, Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

⁵ Wherefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and make manifest the counsels of the hearts, and then shall each man have his praise from God.

⁷ that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold that perisheth though it is proved by fire, may be found unto praise and honor and unto glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ:
