³ But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and guard you from the evil one.

¹⁶ the angel who hath redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named in them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.'

¹⁰ And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying: 'Oh that Thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my border, and that Thy hand might be with me, and that Thou wouldest work deliverance from evil, that it may not pain me!' And God granted him that which he requested.

¹³ (19:14) Keep back Thy servant also from presumptuous sins, that they may not have dominion over me; then shall I be faultless, and I shall be clear from great transgression.

⁷ The LORD shall keep thee from all evil; He shall keep thy soul.

³⁷ { But let your speech be, Yea, yea, Nay, nay; and whatsoever is more than these is of the evil one.

¹³ { And bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

⁴ And forgive us our sins, for we ourselves also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

¹⁵ { I pray not that thou shouldest take them from the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil one.

⁹ God is faithful, through whom ye were called into the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

¹³ There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear; but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able, but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it.

²⁴ Faithful is he that calleth you, who will also do it.

¹⁷ comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.

¹⁸ The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will save me unto his heavenly kingdom; to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

⁹ the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment unto the day of judgment,

²⁴ Now unto him that is able to guard them from stumbling, and to set you before the presence of his glory without blemish in exceeding joy,
