¹⁷ If our God whom we serve is able to deliver us, He will deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and out of thy hand, O king.

²⁰ As a dream when one awaketh, so, O Lord, when Thou arousest Thyself, Thou wilt despise their semblance.

³ But our God is in the heavens; whatsoever pleased Him He hath done.

⁵ The LORD is thy keeper; the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. ⁶ The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. ⁷ The LORD shall keep thee from all evil; He shall keep thy soul.

² Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for GOD the LORD is my strength and song; and He is become my salvation.'

³ The mind stayed on Thee Thou keepest in perfect peace; because it trusteth in Thee. ⁴ Trust ye in the LORD for ever, for the LORD is GOD, an everlasting Rock.

¹⁴ In righteousness shalt thou be established; be thou far from oppression, for thou shalt not fear, and from ruin, for it shall not come near thee.

⁸ Be not afraid of them; for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.

³⁵ (4:32) And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and He doeth according to His will in the host of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay His hand, or say unto Him: What doest Thou?

²⁰ (6:21) And when he came near unto the den to Daniel, he cried with a pained voice; the king spoke and said to Daniel: 'O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?' ²¹ (6:22) Then said Daniel unto the king: 'O king, live for ever! ²² (6:23) My God hath sent His angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, and they have not hurt me; forasmuch as before Him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.'

²⁷ (6:28) He delivereth and rescueth, and He worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth; who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.'

³⁷ For no word from God shall be void of power.

²⁴ But I make myself an account of nothing, neither do I count my life dear unto myself, so that I may accomplish my course with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

¹³ Then Paul answered, What do ye, weeping and breaking my heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

²⁰ And when neither sun nor stars shone upon us for many days, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was now taken away. ²¹ And when they had been long without food, then Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have set sail from Crete, and have gotten this injury and loss. ²² And now I exhort you to be of good cheer, for there shall be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship. ²³ For there stood by me this night an angel of the God whose I am, whom also I serve, ²⁴ saying, Fear not, Paul, thou must stand before Caesar; and lo, God hath granted thee all them that sail with thee. ²⁵ Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer; for I believe God, that it shall be even so as it hath been spoken unto me.

³¹ What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

²⁵ Wherefore also he is able to save to the uttermost them that draw near unto God through him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
